  2. Ok, there seemed to be just enough interest in my xserver during the
  3. week to get me to upload it this weekend.  So I have.  Since I
  4. couldn't be absolutely sure it would work with the other X11R5
  5. clients, libs, etc., I decided to make a small (2.5Mb compressed)
  6. standalone distribution (server, some fonts, some clients, but not
  7. many).  So you can try it with only about 5Mb to spare, or just pull
  8. the server out of it and try that.  It is monochrome only but small
  9. and fast.

  11. It only works with the 709 kernel currently, but my next project is to
  12. move it to the latest kernel and add lots of other features.  I moved
  13. it to the incoming area on eunet under "Xami_rev0.tar.gz".  Source
  14. available but not recommended at this stage.
