- I bought this same model drive from this same exact person. It worked great
- for AmigaDOS using either BTN or ScsiTape (ff791). Then when NetBSD came
- along I used it extensively for all those big tar files on eunet with no
- problems. This is on an A3000T internal scsi controller.
-
- But here's the catch - It worked great for the 644 kernel, while my CDROM
- did not. But for 709, it strangely would not back up anymore - only
- restore. However, my CDROM magically started working. I think it has
- to do with sync mode being disabled for 709 by default but enabled in 644
- by default. Perhaps one needs sync and the other needs no sync. Or maybe
- something to do with dma. I was just too lazy to figure
- it out just yet - I just use 644 for backups still ;-).
