- I just installed the most current rootfs on my Amiga and started up
- vmunix-40.713. I don't know if anybody has tried this on an 040
- accelerated Amiga 500, but everything seemed to work flawlessly. Here
- is my configuration:
-
- Amiga 500 (all ECS w/ KS 2.04)
- GVP Impact Series II controller
- Progressive Peripherals 68040 accelerator (28MHz w/ fully func. 040)
- 2MB Chip RAM, 8MB 16 bit Fast RAM, 4MB 32 bit Fast RAM
- Quantum 525LPS drive
-
- NetBSD only used my 8MB 16 bit Fast RAM, but that was to be expected.
- It did recognize my 2MB Chip RAM and currently thinks that I own an
- A2000-040. :-)
-
- I have only mounted the root fs so far, so haven't really gone digging
- deep into things. Actually my modem is still downloading
- bin-usr.gnu.tar.gz and I also have a physics exam coming up tomorrow.
