-
- Of course, that would be a good idea, but XFree parameters are not the
- parameters given by retina define monitor:
- uder XFree, the HT (Horizontal Total) is the exact value.
- under retina-define-monitor, the given value is HT-5 (which is the value to
- store to the hardware)
- so on one hand some one will want to use XFree config files
- and on the other hand, some ones will want to use retinaDefineMonitor.
- what should I do ?
-
- My solution is to use a retina define-monitor compatible config file
- which could be generated by my future XDefineMonitor (not written yet)

-
- Of course, I'll really concentrate on 8bit until it works.
- After this I'll look for 4bit-mode or 16bit mode (don't know actually)
-
- 24bit mode will be released for developper who want to test true color
- (even if it's slow, it's quite usefull).

- Good thing (I told you that I had v4.19, but I don't exactly remeber the
- exact version).
