- There had been some discussion on this in the past, mainly about various
- ways to handle the networking setup. I was just planning on commenting out
- or setting flags to turn off the network related items in the rc.xx and
- startnet(?) files. So the root would not be any smaller. I don't think it
- would make much sense to leave out the few programs related to networking.
- Maybe a list of what can safely be deleted would be better. Then it is up
- to the user to remove them if they never plan on using them.

- Good point. How soon till this is ready? I imagine several people could still
- use a new rootfs, especially the new comers now that X Windows is available.
- It was not too fun to load the binary updates, find / was over 100% and then
- have to start over again :( So I may go ahead and release an early version
- for practice :)
