  13. Remember that only "root" can write the last 10% of a disk.  This is to
  14. prevent wild, gluttenous users from filling up important disks that may 
  15. result in a system crash.  So, your disks can be at a maximum of 110% full,
  16. including the "reserved space".  Having negative blocks free means you are 
  17. that many blocks into your "reserved space".  Going above 100% full is 
  18. not usually a good idea..  ;)
