  4. I just installed vmunix377 and it seemed as if ps and w were working,

  6. but when going into multi user mode I still get:
  7. ps:kvm_openfiles can't open /dev/drum
  8.  
  9. w doesnt work either.

  11. By the way, how come I can't login into root from a user account, It  
  12. says my 
  13.  
  14. password is wrong. When logged out of the user accout it works.

  17. I seem to have some problem with passwords anyway, when typing su in  
  18. a users account

  20. then i get told that I am in the wrong group.
  21. And vipw wouldn't let me change the root entry.

  23. (maybe someone suggests a good book on UNIX for systems operateros :)

  27. And something else, is there any way to get files from NetBSD to the  
  28. amiga without 
  29.  
  30. a tape? was using term and wanted to download the new kernel when I  
  31. realized
  32. that I had no way to put it onto the amiga. so I had to reboot into  
  33. Amigados.
