  10. ^4 Welcome  to  Totally Amos, Issue 5.  If this is your first look into
  11. ^4the  magazine,  then  Welcome,  if you've been here before, then it's
  12. ^4nice to see you again!

  14. ^6 Congratulations  go  to  Francois  Lionet and his wife on the recent
  15. ^6birth  of  their  son.   We sent a congrats card on behalf of all our
  16. ^6readers,  and  we  hope  that they are not getting too many sleepless
  17. ^6nights!
  18.  
  19. ^4 Another  piece  of  news, is that we are now running the Amos Public
  20. ^4Domain  Library  as  well as producing Totally Amos.  This means that
  21. ^4Sandra  will  now  have  more  time  to  see  to the Déjà Vu Licensed
  22. ^4Software.  We hope that things will run smoothly, and that TA members
  23. ^4will be able to reap the benefits!
  24.  
  25. ^5 If you are a subscriber to TA, ie you have paid for six issues, then
  26. ^5you can claim 10% discount on all your orders to the APDL.  As we are
  27. ^5also  agents  for Déjà Vu Licensed Software, you can also save 10% on
  28. ^5these  titles,  but  only if you order from us, please don't embarass
  29. ^5other  distributors by claiming discount from them!  See the new APDL
  30. ^5advert in the Ads section for prices.

  32. ^7 If  you have bought at least 3 of the 5 full issues of Totally Amos,
  33. ^7then you may claim this discount up until August 31st 1992.

  35. ^4 We  have  plans  to  make up disks of reader's programs and put them
  36. ^4into  the  library so that more people can see your work.  There will
  37. ^4be programs on these disks that have not been published in TA as they
  38. ^4were  just  too  big, so this is will be a chance for you to get your
  39. ^4hands on them!
  40.  
  41. ^5 We welcome any suggestions you may have regarding the library or TA,
  42. ^5all  that  make  sense  and  are  practical will be used!  It will be
  43. ^5inevitable that TA and the Library will no longer be seen as seperate
  44. ^5entities,  but  whether  TA  is  the  Amos PD magazine or The Amos PD
  45. ^5Library  is part of TA remains to be seen, but when you boil it down,
  46. ^5you  will  benefit by having access to the latest disks, discount (NB
  47. ^5Ronnie  James  - a special offer!) and priority service!  In case you
  48. ^5didn't  read  last  issue,  Ronnie  suggested members getting special
  49. ^5offers!   Another  Ronnie, Simpson this time suggested getting `fancy
  50. ^5printed  labels'  well this is now being designed and if not stuck to
  51. ^5this disk, then it will be to the next!

  53. ^6 Competition  spot  this  time  offers  a  choice  of EITHER the AMOS
  54. ^6Compiler  OR  AMOS  3-D.   To  see  who  won  EASY  AMOS, turn to the
  55. ^6Competition results section.

  57. ^4 Apologies  must  go to Paul Townsend whose Amal Tutorial listing got
  58. ^4scrambled  by TA's control codes, the articles have been repeated and
  59. ^4can  be  found  in the Programming section.  Also, some 0's (numeric)
  60. ^4appeared  as  O's  (alpha)  due  to  the fact that Paul's Fax machine
  61. ^4printed out very similar looking characters, and as I know no better,
  62. ^4I typed in the end of the article incorrectly.  Sorry folks!

  64. ^6 As to the saga of Amos In Action, our book on Amos, it should be out
  65. ^6by  now but isn't!  Unfortunately although a perfectly spelt copy was
  66. ^6sent  to  the  printers,  the finished article was full of errors, so
  67. ^6there's a further delay...........we did write it - honest- it is not
  68. ^6a figment of our imagination!

  70. ^7 Where have all your letters gone?  There has been a distinct lack of
  71. ^7input  this  time.   Get your pens working, we want to hear from you!
  72. ^7Thanks  go  to those who have written in, we do understand that a lot
  73. ^7of you have been doing exams, we hope they went well for you.

  76. ^4section.   You  will  find  details  of  the Amos PD Library & Prisma
  77. ^4Software are looking for programmers, There's an ad for a new Rainbow
  78. ^4Editor and a new Disk magazine.

  81. ^5we  are  also  Authorised Distributors for DEJA VU and if you wish to
  82. ^5order  these  packs,  they can be obtained from us - they are already
