^6 We have chosen Delboy Dodson as our SPOTLIGHT programmer for this
^6issue. Delboy has so far contributed three disks to the Amos PD
^6Library, unless I've missed some others!
^1 These are:-
^2 APD 115 ^6Balloonacy
^2 APD 184 ^6Towers of Hanoi (on compilation disk)
^2 APD 257 ^6Deluxe Cassette Labeller. (on compilation disk)
^7 Balloonacy received good reviews in the magazines. It's a bomber
^7type game with really great graphics. You are bombing a city from a
^7hot air balloon and there are plenty of bonuses to be gained as well
^7as hazards to be avoided. The game might not be an original theme,
^7but the graphics and presentation make it well worth including in
^7your collection of great AMOS PD disks!
^4 Towers of Hanoi is a puzzle game that I'm particularly fond of as it
^4brings back memories of a game I had when I was about 10! It
^4involves moving a stack of 9 disks which get smaller as you get
^4nearer the top of the pile from post 1 to post 3 without ever placing
^4a disk on top of a smaller one. I don't know what the minimum number
^4of moves is, but my last attempt was 668!
^5 Deluxe Cassette Labeller will allow you to print out tidy labels for
^5your music collection. The program is very nicely presented, and I
^5hope to use it soon to tidy up my cassette labels!
^2 We hope that we shall see more of Delboy Dodson's work soon,
^2according to our sources, he hasn't been heard from for quite a few
^2months, perhaps we can persuade him to make an appearance in TA.....
^1 We think his work is great, and we are sure that he will have a
^1title in Licenseware one day, well we did say that about Luke Miller
^1in Issue 1, and Techno Snail is now Licensed Software!
