Phone Book
(c) 1990 Jason D Banks
Phone Book is a relatively basic 'Data Base' for handling those
ever tricky addresses. This ones fairly simple, and easy to modify,
I actually got this by modifying the original what I wrote for a
Play-By-Mail group. Still, It's easy to use, just press the number for
what you wish to do.
Once into the program, instructions are provided in most cases, but
as a rule of thumb, 1 - 4 are used for selecting individual records to
Enter/Edit. In the Enter routine, you are expected to SELECT an item
to enter before actually going and typing it in.
The only other thing you've got to desperatly know is that I use
only one entry for ADDRESS and NOTES, but these can both hold upto
5 lines each. This is done with 'Separators', which is a clever way of
saying we're going to start a new line here matey.
Therefore...
4 Woolerton Drive|South/West Denton|Newcastle-upon-Tyne|NE157RX
ends up looking like
4 Woolerton Drive
South/West Denton
Newcastle-upon-Tyne
NE157RX
Simple Huh?
Well it's tough, 'cos that's the was it's done!
Still, I hope it's useful - I know it's a cop-out program but......
