Remember that old game SIMON well this is a very similar
game to that one and so as it is a throw back in time I decided to
give it a name which reflects this backwards facing feature of the
game so called it NOMIS.
HOW TO PLAY.
************
Control throughout is by mouse and cursor keys.
Once you have disposed of the opening screen and entered
the two players names the game screen opens and the computer chooses
two colours / numbers and plays a distinctive sound for each colour
chosen. Player one then has to copy the sequence chosen. If correct
an extra colour / number is chosen and once again player one has to
mimic that choice. This goes on until the player makes a mistake at
which point player two has a go.
Once both players have had a go the High Score table is
displayed and should either player have scored enough points then
their name will appear on the High Score table.
To choose a number use the cursor keys as follow:-
1 Yellow Up arrow
2 Green Right arrow
3 Red Down arrow
4 Blue Left arrow
To leave the High Score table click on one of the two choices
shown at the bottom of the screen. These are self-explanatory.
SCORING.
********
Each player scores the number of points 1 to 4 for the correct
colour / number chosen.
MISCELLANOUS.
*************
The game was written in AMOS Basic and has been compiled. All
screens were created in DPaint III and music is from the AMOS PD
Library.
