Creating your own menu's couldn't be easier, just follow these simple
instructions :
The first thing to do is create a bootable disk :
1 - Format a blank disk.
2 - Create a bootable disk in the usual way for either compiled or uncompiled
programs.
3 - Now copy the version of Amos Menu's that you need onto the disk. (Don't
copy the file AmosMenu's.data because this is the saved menu.)
4 - Create a startup sequence to run Amos Menu's as soon as the disk boots
up.
5 - Boot up the disk!
You should now see the program Amos Menu's in front of you with all the
options and the title blank.
Here's what to do now :
1 - Go into the menu and select Title or press F1.
2 - Enter the title you want your menu to be called.
3 - Now go to the menu and select Edit or press F2.
4 - Enter the menu information.
If you are using the compiled version then press on the Load compiled program
button or if you're using the uncompiled press on the Load uncompiled program.
If on the other hand you wish to load a text file then press on the load text
file button.
If you are still stuck on how to enter your menu data then just look at my
menu for running these instructions by going to the edit part.
5 - When all your menu information has been entered press the OK button.
(We'll leave Protect and Unprotect for now.)
6 - The menu information will now be displayed.
7 - If you are satisfied with it then select the Save option from the menu or
press F3.
And that's all there is to it, all you have to do now is turn off your Amiga
and reboot the disk and Amos Menu's will now load with your menu.
The other 2 menu options.
These are easy to remember :
Clear! - Clears the menu information.
Quit! - Quits the program.
