  3. This is Paul "Technical Fred" Townsend at the keyboard again.
  4. Here is yet another one of our AMOS demos. This one was finally completed on
  5. 21 August 1991 at 1:30am.

  9. If you would like any pictures digitised for your own demos, but don`t have
  10. access to a digitiser, why not contact us, we will do what we can for you.

  20. Technical Details

  22. 1. This Demo was written with AMOS.
  23.  
  24. 2. Compiled using the AMOS compiler extension.
  25.  
  26. 3. The demo automatically detects how much memory you have
  27.    and runs accordingly i.e it WILL run on a 512K machine but misses out all
  28.    the clever fade in effects, it just displays the piccys in the usual
  29.    "Let`s just flash it on the screen and be another boring slideshow" manner
  30.    If you have at least 1Mb then the demo springs to life.

  32. 4. It does not have any 3D routines in it yet because the 3D extension only
  33.    arrived yesterday and I have not sussed it all out yet (But look out for
  34.    future demos from Technical Fred Software because they will DEFINITELY
  35.    contain a bit of 3D.)

  37. 5. Because this demo was written in AMOS, it is Ozone friendly ..ooops I
  38.    mean Operating System friendly. i.e Yes it will work from your workbench
  39.    or if you boot up with this disk it will load a workbench of it`s own.
  40.    Then you just click on the slideshow icon and away you go !.
  41.    If you exit from the demo by holding down the "Q" key as suggested,
  42.    then the demo exits back to Workbench and frees all the memory it used
  43.    (unlike some other silly demos that the only way out is to reset.)

  45. 6. The piccys used in this demo have come from several sources, they were
  46.    digitised using a CCTV camera with Digiview and colour filters.
  47.  
  48. 7. The music was borrowed from disks that are in the P.D. the people
  49.    responsible for writing the music are listed on the credits screen. I hope
  50.    that the original creators of the music do not mind me spreading their
  51.    creations a little further.

  53. 8. Provided there is enough memory then when the demo has played through
  54.    once then the music is changed. (Note on a 512K machine it may not manage
  55.    to play both pieces of music.)

  57. 9. If the demo runs out of memory then it should just return to workbench.
