**** AGA Demo's ****
----------
** NOTE: LATEST TITLES AT THE TOP OF THE TEXT FILE **
Disk Title No.Disks Disk Ref.
---------- -------- --------
FRUIT KITCHEN ......................................... 1 UAD222
Starts with a real time kandscape swoop and a movie
style introduction which adds to the atmosphere.
Brilliant road scene which would make an amazing
game, and it ends with a texture mapped doom sequence
with full 360 degree rotation and loads more!
PARELLAX: ZIF ......................................... 2 UAD221a/b
High quality graphics, with a rav'ish backtrack.
Zif contains some amzing, stunning and very smooth
effects, including real time spinning shapes etc.
Zif contains loads moe and is much better than I
have made it sound. Needs hard drive.
SCOOPEX: ISO .......................................... 2 UAD220a/b
Another amazing release from Scoopex, theres no
stopping these boys in 1995. The demo contains
some greta visuals, effects etc, lets hope Scoopex
can keep it up in 1996!
STELLAR: AURORA ....................................... 1 UAD219
Wow! this demo starts with a brilliant funky backing
track with panpipes? (better than it sounds), contains
stunning visuals, superb doom style sequence with
a bonus of amazing animated shapes, with realtime
(almost, sort of thing) background etc, hard to
explain but is absolutley brilliant.
MANUAL OVERRIDE ....................................... 1 UAD218
This demo is quite old now, it was released at the
Intel Outside party, but still very very good. The
demo contains some brilliant visuals and effects
and ens in a very amusing ending animation?
HOODLUM: HAPPY BIRTHDAY ............................... 1 UAD217
Starts with a smart morphing effect and a spooky
atmosperic (theres that word again?) backing track.
You then walk round a very impressive texture mapped
maze (not actually controlling where you are going
though), looking at messages and pictures on the wall,
the demo then breaks out into spinning texture mapped
cubes etc. A very impressive demo but I wouldn't like
to see it on a standard 1200. It's quite slow on my
4000/040.
IF THERE WAS NO GRAVITY ............................... 1 UAD216
Funky atmospheric soundtrack. Some un-impressive
effects which actually works quite well. If you
are a demo fanatic, then get it, otherwise, don't.
RAZOR 1911: DALA HORSE ................................ 4 WAD215a/d
Also known as Falkorv, but wasn't it's real title.
Ok, despite the confusion in it's name, (I still don't
know if I'm right about it either?) This, has to be
the best demo of 1995, although the likes of C42 and
dEEP Mix are amazing, Dala Horse just takes gold for
me! Amazing effects. One problem is though, it
requires a hard drive and 4meg to run, if you've got
both, what are you waiting for?
JULIET & CASE: C42 .................................... 1 UAD214
brilliant title sequence, superb flying butterflys,
stunning tunnel sequence with flickering lights,
rippling screen, funky soundtrack.
(030/040 Fixed)
SURFING ON THE JAZZ WAVE .............................. 2 AAD213a/b
A fantastic 2 disk jazzy funky style music collecton.
A superb selection method containing info about each
module and some nice artwork make this an excellent
choice to listen to.
VANITY: AMAZED ........................................ 3 AAD212a/c
Another great 3 disk AGA demo
** HARD DRIVE REQUIRED **
BIOSYNTHETIC DESIGN: TENEBRA .......................... 1 AAD211
A fantastic AGA demo
dEEP - THE PSILOCYBIN MIX ............................. 3 WAD210a/c
Oh my god! I don't know what to say about this one,
apart from absolutely amazing! Stunning visuals,
cool backing track and amazing effects. A superb
update to the original dEEP demo. STUNNING!
** HD REQUIRED **
FACULTY: MAN ON THE MOON .............................. 4 TAD209a/d
oh, my god, drool drool, sorry did i dribble on you.
f**k me, this is the best demo i've seen, i know i
say that a lot, but demos seem to get better and
better. this one starts with probably the best
animation you will ever see in your life, then a
title screen appears saying 'man on the moon', thats
when you think its all over and its not, its got
loads more effects like, spinning faces with a twist,
flaming cube, spinning texture mapped cube and
hundreds more, i'm still drooling, AMAZING!!!!!!
OXYGENE: HAPPY BIRTHDAY LESTER ........................ 1 YAD201
head bangin soundtrack in full voice. sort of
full motion video in 2 colours of the crew head
bangin and beatin each other up.
COSMIC PIRATES: DELUSION .............................. 1 YAD202
starts with a superb picture of a beast coming
through a hole in the wall. includes other nice
graphics, smart whirly thing. also includes some
boring effects and other good ones, a bit of a
mixture of good and bad.
CONTROL ............................................... 2 TAD191a/b
3D graphics is the pulsing theme that runs throughout
the whole of this two disk demo from oxygen. Anything
impressive that can jump from your Amiga screen is
here: there are pre-rendered sequences, real time
vectors in space, real time texture-mapped and light
sourced objects, blurred lenses and plenty more. The
various sections are tied together well to form a
continuous trip throughthe abstract 3D world. All
very nice and escapist. 83% :- CU Amiga.
THE AGA EXPERIENCE PREVIEW ............................ 1 YAD190
a preview of our coming CD in the form of an Amiga
guide. You must of heard of the NFA/SAdENESS CD by
now, and are you interested in buying it, well, take
a look at this 1 disk preview before you make up
your mind. Includes contents details, screen shots,

MELON: PLANET M ....................................... 1 TAD185
Planet M won first place at the SIH demo conference
in Holland. This demo makes you gasp, raise your
eyebrows and makes you laugh. Planet M, done by the
same people who brought you Mina Omistan, backed
with a superb track, take a trip to planet M, you
won't regret it. Reviewed in AF issue 77.
AXIS: PICTURE BOOK .................................... 4 YAD184a/d
a stunning new demo from axis. Includes a good intro
similar to the one at the start of the disney movies,
when the little fairy sparkles on the corner of the
disney text, well thats what happens, its a bit hard
to explain this demo but its bloody brilliant with
some great new effects and artwork which will make
you quench for thirst!!!! Get it now!!!
MYSTIC: IMPOSSIBLE POSSIBILITY ........................ 2 VAD208a/b
released at the Gathering '95, great new release from
mystic, received rave reviews, contains amazing
effects
MYSTIC: FEAR .......................................... 2 UAD195a/b
a superb new demo from mystic. it seems to me that
all new releases turn out to be damn good, whats
going on now a days, can't we have a laugh at the
crap stuff anymore, obviously not. this demo
conatains some brilliant effects including a superb
texture mapped spinning cube with animated sides,
WOW !!!!!!!!!
RAZOR: MEMORIAL SONGS ................................. 2 UAD196a/b
a well presented music disk, with beautiful, bright
and colourful graphics. plenty of quality music
tracks to choose from, so get listening.
MELON: BAYGON ......................................... 1 TAD186
melon are back, this time with a few demo releases.
they need to live up to something spectacular for
this one, after the great success of Planet M.
this certainly does look damn good, not sure if
its better than planet m though. you decide.
PASSION: ALIEN INSPIRATION ............................ 1 TAD187
weyyyyhhheeyyy, check out this little beauty from
paaaasssssiiioonnn! some quality effects including,
oh don't worry you won't understand what i'm
talking about anyway, check it out for yourself.
OZONE: BLOWING BRAIN .................................. 1 UAD188
smart rendered graphics for the logo. techno track.
has some great effects including a 12 faced, 256
colour spinning shape. 3 rotating cubes with
256 colour pics on all sides. rotating and morphing
256 colour screen. fabulous effects. check it out.
VIVAT SLOVAKIA ........................................ 2 AD170a/b
average aga demo, includes some reasonable effects,
etc, etc.
BOSNISK METALL ........................................ 1 AD171
a pretty good demo, includes good effects. Winner at
the hackerence XI in Sweden.
MM: SECRET MEMBERS .................................... 1 AD172
good aga demo, second at Nexus 95.
only just fits onto a disk, no space for a startup
sequence and setpatch so it must be run through
workbench.
WATER WHISPER ......................................... 1 AD173
contains brilliant effects but the whole tends to
prove itself a little boring, bt definatly worth
looking at.
AXIS: TIME AND EMOTION ................................ 1 AD174
quality presented music disk for aga machines. a
selection of 8 tracks to listen too, click through
at your own will.
ILLUSIONS: CONTAC'TRO ................................. 1 AD175
good looking demo from what i saw, but didn't run
properly on an A4000/040.
SCOOPEX: ARTCORE ...................................... 1 AD176
superb slideshow, but in the form of a demo, if you
get what i mean. Not only is this a slideshow, but
its also a doom clone in a way. You walk round a room
with pictures on the wall, selecting a picture for
you to view, Great stuff.
FLYING COWS INC ....................................... 1 AD177
1993 release, obviously not new but we only just got
it, so its new to us.
