Labels:text | screenshot | font OCR: TOTAL IRRELEVANCE =-=-=- OctaMED MMD1 MIDI Modules (c) by Kevan R.Craft 1993 Contained in the 'OctaMED_MIDI_Modules' directory are some OctaMED MMD1 MIDI modules as examples of how to construct a MIDI module in octaMED Professional! For these examples I have used OctaMED Professional V5 and saved the modules V5. out in MMD1 format which is compatible with OctaMED Professional V 3, 44 and MIDI Modules include: 1. Basic_MIDI_Drums . MED - A simple 4 track OctaMED MIDI module containing MIDI Drums transmitted on MIDI Channel 10 (Roland General MIDI Standard). 2. Basic_Drums&Bass . MED - A simple 4 track OctaMED module containing MIDI Drums + A Fretless Bass Guitar. The Drums are transmitted on Channel 10 and the Bass (PGM NO. 33) is transmitted on Channel 2. 3. FunkingMusic. MED - A Simple 4 track OctaMED module illustrating how a basic 4 track Tracker type module can be utilised by using MIDI instruments instead of IFF/RAW Samples. 4. ThinkingOfHer . MED - A Simple 4 track Piano (PGM No. 1) Peice transmitted via MIDI on Channel 1. 5. ThinkingOfHer2. MED - A full arranged version of the 4 track peice but this time containing Piano on 4 tracks (PGM No. 1 - Channel 1), Drums (Roland GM Standard - Channel 10), Fretless Bass (PGM No. 33 - Channel 2) and Strings (PGM No. 49 - Channel 3). Load the MMD1 OctaMED MIDI modules into your version of OctaMED Professional and examine the varous MIDI options within OctaMED and the channel which transmit the musical notes via MIDI etc. NOTE: All Drum note data conforms to the Roland GM Standard (See Doc).
