  9. Deletes Libraries - Usually those associated with using a comms program
  10.                        As well as all LIBS: used for 'requestors'.
  11.  
  12.  For Example       -   Xprzmodem.lib
  13.                        Iffparse.lib
  14.                        Reqtools.lib
  15.  
  16. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
  17.                               DISCOVERY OF THE VIRUS:
  18.  
  19.    When rebooting after using NComm or Term a requestor would pop up
  20.         saying: "Hey, you!  I can't find the iffparse.library!"
  21. When that library was re-copied over others were found missing as well.

  24.                          WHERE WILL YOU FIND THIS VIRUS ?
  25.  
  26. The virus was finally indentified by:  Virus_Checker 7.18 after scanning
  27. my Prefs:Env-Arc/ drawer in a small text file called:
  28.  
  29.                             "da last alert"
  30.  
  31. We were unable to find out whether this was the file originally carrying
  32. the  virus,  but we discovered that it was a file created by the program
  33. of  the  same name, "Last Alert" which, after a Software Failure, brings
  34. up a window to explain what caused the Failure..
  35.  
  36. The  archive was originally downloaded from the AmiNet page itself about
  37. Four  months  ago..  But for some unexplainable reason, the virus didn't
  38. activate itself until this week.

  42. The   file   and  the  original  archive  were  deleted  before  further
  43. information  could be gathered on "The Dag Creator" virus..  Any further
  44. information would be much appreciated and can be posted to:
