  7. The  time  is  20:38  and I've just got off the phone.  It was Enzo, the
  8. sysop at Sky Tower.  He got busted today.  The cops came to his place at
  9. around  7  am  with  a warrant (a year old!) and took all his equipment,
  10. Amiga,  monitors,  modems, his PC, dat, etc.  and took him to the police
  11. station.

  13. It  has  not  been  clarified exactly what the charges will be, but it's
  14. likely  they  know  about the sale of DAT-tapes.  But as usual, the cops
  15. might  not  be  too smart (we've seen that before) so maybe nothing much
  16. happens.

  18. As  a user you shouldn't worry.  Even though they might find your handle
  19. or  maybe  even  a  phonenumber  (dunno  how)  they  can't really do you
  20. anything,  since  there  is  no  law  against  calling  a bulletin board
  21. service.

  23. Enzo  did not know anything about when/if he gets his equipment back, so
  24. he couldn't say when/if he would be back and running.

  26. Therefore I suggest you stop calling Sky Tower as it won't be online for
  27. quite a while - if ever.

  29. A shame, since it was - whether you liked it or not - the best all-round
  30. bbs  in  dk.   Nowhere  else  could  you  find such a good collection of
  31. software for all major formats.

  33. I  will  personally  miss the board since I have been calling it for 3-4
  34. years,  and  Enzo has become a good friend of mine.  Let's wish him luck
  35. on this one, ok?

  37. By the way, he's not the only one to get busted.  He managed to get some
  38. information  stating  that  they  do  have the numbers of several danish
  39. boards.   And  Amiga-only  boards  are  NO  LONGER  SAFE!  So take care,
  40. perhaps keeping a low profile for a while.
