PC-SIG Disks INSTALLATION and START UP

a. Floppy disk systems:
Start up:
Load STARTUP disk in drive A. Type GT<RTN>
Press <RTN> for the second title page.
Then to start, select C for Colour or M for Monochrome.
Replace the STARTUP disk in drive A with the
RUNTIME disk, and select G for GRAPH.
Now place the STARTUP disk in drive B.
The GRAPH program will load.
To run the built-in demonstration, type: FMMAC1<RTN>
The demo can be stopped at any time by pressing
the Esc key. Wait until the current graph is
complete then press Function 8 key to redisplay the
status line. Any command can then be used.
Help is Function 1 key. Type Q then Y to exit.
b. Hard Disk system:
Installation:
Create a subdirectory called GT. (ie C: MD GT<RTN>)
Copy all files from the RUNTIME disk to GT.
(C: GT> COPY A:*.*<RTN>).
Then copy all files from the STARTUP disk (C:>GT COPY A:*.*<RTN>)
(Make sure that the STARTUP disk files are copied last.)
Start up:
Change to GT subdirectory: CD\ GT<RTN>
Type GT<RTN>
Press <RTN> for the second title page.
Then select C for Colour or M for Monochrome.
Select G for GRAPH.
When GRAPH is loaded, enter: FDC to set the
default disk drive to C. (This is only required
the first time GRAPHTIME is run on a hard disk.)
To run the demonstration, type: FMMAC1<RTN>

Note: The PC-SIG disk is limited to 24 data points per file.
(The full version has a capacity for 365 data points.)
Picture files cannot be saved. Fonts 4-7 are not included.

1=HELP 2=FILES 3=PALET 4=UNDO 5=QUIT
6=RESOL 7=BLANK 8=KEY 9=LOADSCR 10=SAVESCR
These disks do not contain a manual, however, the extensive help files may be
printed directly by inserting the RUNTIME disk in drive A:, typing CTRL/PrSc
then: PRINTHLP <RTN>. When printing is complete, type CTRL/PrSc again.
