  16. This diskette contains the HOMEWARE application series programs. The programs
  17. are directed for use in the home environment and include Household Inventory,
  18. Automobile Maintenance, Meal Schedule and Shopping List, Mixed Drinks, Name and
  19. Address Record Book, and Hobbies Record Keeping. The HOMEWARE series is written
  20. in the C programming language, is extremely easy to use, and is fast. The
  21. documentation is comprehensive, and the system comes with data files for mixed
  22. drinks and recipes. Documentation and data files are contained on Disk No. 630.

  26.                               Household Inventory
  27.  
  28. This application provides the capability to establish records for all
  29. possessions in the home. Each item is described and recorded. Cost, location,
  30. warranty, acquisition, market value, and other relevant information are
  31. maintained in a database for a complete description. The inventory may be
  32. selectively or fully viewed on the monitor or printed on hardcopy at any time.

  34.                             Automobile Maintenance
  35.  
  36. Automobile Maintenance keeps track of expenses associated with one or more
  37. vehicles. Gas, oil, insurance, and other expense items are recorded.
  38. Periodically, expense reports are produced giving detail and summary
  39. information. Calculations for miles per gallon, cost per mile, average gas cost,
  40. etc. are included in the summary. The expense reports are previewed on the
  41. monitor or printed on hardcopy as desired.

  43.                         Meal Schedule and Shopping List

  45. This application provides the necessary functions to record recipes in a
  46. database by recipe name, classification, and entree. The ingredients and
  47. directions for preparation are recorded in the database as well. For a meal
  48. plan, recipes are selected by recipe name, classification, entree, or
  49. ingredients. A meal schedule is produced together with an optional shopping
  50. list. The number served for any recipe may be changed. The system will adjust
  51. the quantities of ingredients for the schedule and shopping list accordingly.

  53.                                  Mixed Drinks
  54.  
  55. This program provides the capability to maintain the ingredients of drinks in a
  56. database by drink name and drink type (nog, cooler, punch, high ball, etc.).
  57. Ingredients are entered in the database along with directions for preparation.
  58. The drinks are then selected for viewing or printing by name, type, or
  59. ingredients. Multiple ingredients may be submitted to the system and it will
  60. locate all drinks that satisfy the desired ingredients.

  62.                          Name and Address Record Book

  64. The record book application gives the means to record names and addresses just
  65. as in a typical, manual record book. Telephone numbers, birth dates, anniversary
  66. dates, comments, etc., are kept along with the names. The records are accessed
  67. directly. If a partial name is given, the system will present all names matching
  68. the partial entry. As with the other HOMEWARE series, records may be readily
  69. viewed on the monitor or printed on the printer.

  71.                             Hobbies Record Keeping

  73. Hobbies Record Keeping keeps track of activity associated with one or more
  74. hobbies. With this function, generic hobby information, such as location,
  75. purchase and market value data, characteristics, etc., are kept. Hobby activity
  76. lists are produced as needed giving a detail breakdown as well as a summary of
  77. total purchases and market valuations. Hobby activity lists may be produced in
  78. several sequences through simple menu selections.
