Using a Microsoft Mouse with PC-Write Version 2.7 October 1986
The RIGHT BUTTON acts as the Esc key at all times. During editing it brings
up the main menu; when prompts or menus are present it cancels them.
While editing, the LEFT BUTTON controls marking text. It turns on marking,
freezes marking, or clears marking depending on the current marking status of
the screen.
When menus are present, the LEFT BUTTON acts as the Enter key to execute the
option highlighted. At prompts that use the current filename or directory as
the default (switchfile, directory, printfile) it acts as the Enter key.
Pressing BOTH BUTTONS accesses the Help Screen; when the Help Screen is
present, pressing both buttons acts as the F1 key to continue where you left
off (the RIGHT button cancels Help and the operation you were doing).
