ROGEHINT - Hint file for Epyx's Rogue game (may pertain to HACK.EXE also)
Rogue, available from Epyx for the IBM is the commercial version of HACK.EXE
from the "Amulet of Yendor" disk #452. In many ways, it plays the same, the
objective is the same (to find the amulet of Yendor and escape) and most of
the commands function the same (except where additional commands were added
in Rogue to simplify). HACK.EXE is a little more complex, but Rogue has the
advantage of being in color, and hence, it is much easier to tell what's going
on. Although I have never seriously played at HACK.EXE, Many of these hints are
bound to apply to it also. ROGEHINT.TXT is a plain ASCII text file that was
meant to be used with the PRINT command from DOS to obtain a hardcopy to be
referred to as you play the game. For quick reference, you may also use the
TYPE command to view the file onscreen. ROGEHINT.TXT provided by Stephen King
