  1.     The following enhancements have been made to Menu-Master
  2. subsequent to the printing of the documentation package.
  3.  
  4.     Diskette support has been provided to allow execution of
  5. diskette based software.  Simply specify the path to include A:
  6. or B: (or for that matter, any other drive, such as D: whether it
  7. is a virtual disk or another hard disk.
  8.  
  9.     While the [Esc] key sequences outlined in the manual still
  10. function as described, the Function Key operation shown on the
  11. screen is quicker.   For example, the manual exits to DOS by
  12. pressing [Esc] to the DOS Menu and the [Esc] to Exit to DOS.  You
  13. may now exit to DOS at any time by pressing [F10].  Likewise [F1]
  14. will always return to the Main-Menu, from either the DOS Menu or
  15. the Secondary Menu.
  16.  
  17.     Time Display is in either 12 hour or 24 hour format with 12
  18. hour format as the default.   This may be modified in the Set-Up
  19. screen.  Press [F1] there for the Help Screen.
  20.  
  21.     The On Screen Function Key reminders will change, depending
  22. on whether or not you use all 7 positions of the Secondary menu
  23. or all 7 positions of the DOS Function Menu.   These may all be
  24. defined by the user and you will be prompted to return to the
  25. other available screens via Function Keys.
  26.  
  27.     Because of the variances between different brands of color
  28. displays, it is possible to adjust parameters 37-39 so that no
  29. display is produced.   If this happens, use the audible chirp to
  30. change 37 to 7 and 38 & 39 to 0.  This will allow you to see the
  31. display again.  Pressing [Return] alone, or [F10] will save the
  32. display parameters and you won't be able to see the menu either.

  34.     Menu-Master expects to find a program called 'MENUDIR.COM' in
  35. its default directory.  This program is not included in the dis
  36. tribution diskette, but you may use any directory dislplay pro
  37. gram of your choice, even DIR.COM or my favorite, which is the
  38. double directory display DDIR.COM as featured in PC Magazine.

  40.     Simply copy it to the default Menu-Master directory as fol
  41. lows:
  42.     COPY \DOS\DIR.COM \MENUDIR.COM
