  4. Assumed Decimal Point - Located two positions to the right of
  5.     a programmer's current salary in estimating his own
  6.     worth.

  8. Bit - The increment by which programmers slowly go mad.
  9.  
  10. Chaining - A method of attaching programmers to desks to speed
  11.     up output.
  12.  
  13. Checkpoint - The location from which a programmer must forget
  14.     in order to be successful.
  15.  
  16. Core Storage - A receptacle for the center section of apples.
  17.  
  18. Counter - A device over which martinis are served.
  19.  
  20. Disassembler - An unattended five year old child.
  21.  
  22. Error - What someone else has made when he disagrees with your
  23.     computer output.
  24.  
  25. External Storage - A wastebasket.
  26.  
  27. Fixed Word Length - Four-letter words used by programmers in a
  28.     state of confusion.
  29.  
  30. Floating Control - A characteristic exhibited when you have to
  31.     go to the restroom but cannot leave the computer.
  32.  
  33. Floating Point - The absolute limit before floating control
  34.     is lost.
  35.  
  36. Flow Chart - A graphic representation of the fastest route to
  37.     the restroom.
  38.  
  39. Input - Food, whiskey, beer, asprin, etc.
  40.  
  41. Macro - The last half of an expression of surprise:
  42.             "Holy Macro".
  43.  
  44. Memory Dump - Amnesia.
  45.  
  46. Programmer - A red-eyed, mumbling mammal capable of conversing
  47.     with inanimate opjects.
