Technical Issues
================
Shut down all other programs before playing ruthless.com. These other applications may be using resources that ruthless.com needs. Also, programs running in the background may cause ruthless.com to stop responding or crash.
ruthless.com does not support the Windows key, the Alt-TAB key sequence, or other methods of switching between running applications.
Using custom or animated Windows cursors may cause graphic glitches in ruthless.com. If these problems appear, use a standard Windows cursor.
Computers with RAM equal to or just above the minimum requirements (16 MB) may have difficulty running consecutive games of ruthless.com. It is best to shut down and restart ruthless.com if problems are experienced on these low memory machines.
ruthless.com requires that the game CD be in the CD drive before the game begins. A dialog will inform the player if the CD is not in the drive. If this occurs, place the CD in the drive and wait a few seconds (for the CD to spin up) before pressing the OK button on the dialog.
The music of ruthless.com is composed of a mixture of CD Audio and .wav audio. Like most applications, ruthless.com cannot control the volume of CD Audio. The volume slider control within ruthless.com affects only the .wav files. Turning the sound off completely will prevent the CD Audio from playing.

Gameplay Issues
===============
The manual does not clearly state that Viruses may infect Buildings without necessarily damaging any Departments immediately. All Viruses have a percentage chance of doing damage each turn, and thus may not always damage infected Departments. Any Building that shows a Virus animation in the Computer Layer does have a Virus inside.
If a Building consists of only one Department, and a player Downsizes that Department, the Building is effectively destroyed at that point in time. Attempting to add a new Department to the Building in the same turn it is Downsized will appear to succeed, but no Department will be built.
In Multiplayer play, when a human player leaves the game, his or her Corporation continues to exist. This 'zombie' Corporation will not give any Orders, but will exist until it is destroyed by means within the game. This 'zombie' cannot respond to Acquisition offers on its Buildings.
If a player issues a Computer Core Order that uses all Computer Points in a Building, all Computer Cores in that Building will be marked used for that Turn.
The Orders Data Run and Theft have been changed. These Orders may only target R&D, Legal, Security and Computer Core Departments.
Using the Computer Order Secure Passwords on a Building protects it from attacks by other players. However, a Replicating Virus may still spread to that Building.
The Manual and the Help text in the game use the terms Computer and Hacking interchangeably. In all cases, they have the same meaning.
