  4. WinPac 2 is an arcade-style game for Windows much
  5. akin to the arcade classic Pac-ManÖ (I make no claims
  6. of originality on the game concept here, so don't bother
  7. me about it).
  8.  
  9. New additions to the game include Ghost Spawners,
  10. Teleporters, and Invisibility.
  11.  
  12. Features:
  13. -3D rendered graphics
  14. -One and two player modes
  15. -50 (fifty) levels (5 in the shareware version)
  16. -Joystick support
  17. -Built in level editor
  18. -Sound support

  21. These are just a few quick tips for playing WinPac 2
  22.  
  23. - If you can run your display in 16-bit or higher video
  24. mode, DO SO. WinPac 2 will use its 24-bit graphics, which
  25. look MUCH better than the default 8-bit graphics.
  26.  
  27. - The default movement keys are the arrow keys for
  28. Player 1, and W, A, S, and D for Player 2 (up, left,
  29. down, and right respectively).

  31. - Play around with the Options dialog (choose View|Options
  32. from the main menu to display it). There are a lot of neat
  33. options built into WinPac 2.
  34.  
  35. - If you have a relatively fast computer, try changing
  36. the animation smoothness to High in the Options dialog.
  37. This makes WinPac 2 run more smoothly (you also need
  38. to increase the speed of the game at the same time.
  39. 55fps is a good speed for High Animation Smoothness).
  40.  
  41. - You can edit the settings of your saved WinPac 2
  42. games by choosing View|Saved Games... from the main
  43. menu.
  44.  
  45. - If you don't like the ScoreBar where it is, you can
  46. move it! By default, the Page Up and Page Down keys
  47. move the ScoreBar up and down respectively, and the
  48. Home and End keys move it left and right respectively.
  49.  
  50. - You can start a saved WinPac 2 game or open a saved
  51. WinPac 2 Level File by double-clicking it in Explorer
  52. or dragging it onto WinPac 2.
