  1.     This file contains a brief list of control codes. You may wish to print
  2.     it out so that you don't have to keep referring to BELEFxxx.TXT 
  3.     (although you must refer to it at least once to see how to use the codes).

  5.     REMEMBER: You MUST hold down the <CONTROL> key when entering the code.
  6.     To enter the control code, control-e, HOLD DOWN the [CONTROL] key while
  7.     typing in the letter  e  . For purposes of illustration, <c>  represents   
  8.     the control code.
  9.  
  10.     CONTROL-E  -  Extract. Instructs Belef to present you with the alert
  11.                   containing extraction options.
  12.                   ie: CMND: x<c>
  13.  
  14.     CONTROL-I  -  Indirection. Instructs Belef to look to the right of the
  15.                   command for an "indirection code" ( "@"  for ARC602ST, "&"
  16.                   for !LHARC.TTP ) and to place that code directly in front
  17.                   of the file selected in the second fileselector.
  18.                   ie: CMND: a@<c>
  19.                   ie: CMND: a&<c>

  21.     CONTROL-L  -  List. Instructs Belef to execute the compression utility
  22.                   immediately after selecting a file. Another use of this
  23.                   code is for Testing files.
  24.                   ie: CMND: l<c>
  25.                   ie: CMND: t<c>
  26.                   ie: CMND: v<c>

  28.     CONTROL-Q  -  Query. Instructs Belef to scan the archived file for
  29.                   filenames and to place those names on the query screen.
  30.                   This is useful for things like Deleting files or 
  31.                   disPlaying files.

  33.                   ie: CMND: p<c>
  34.  
  35.     CONTROL-R  -  Redirect. Instructs Belef to place ANY and ALL "options"
  36.                   at the end of the command line. This is mostly useful for
  37.                   redirecting files within ARC602ST. This code MUST be 
  38.                   entered after an "option" and NOT a command.
  39.                   ie: CMND: p<c>   <------- <c> represents control-q
  40.                       Name: PRINT
  41.                       OPTN: >prn<c>     <-- <c> represents control-r
  42.                       Name: TO PRINTER

  46.     ALL options MUST be preceded by an empty space.
  47.     The last character of the TEMP line MUST be a backslash "\" .
