4_7_11 4-7-11.PRG version 1.04 by John Phillips/EasyPill Software is a
shareware card game. This program offers 3 different card games: The
four card game, also known as Russian patience, the seven card game,
the one everyone knows, and the twelve card game, also known as
'Casting out Elevens'. 4_7_11 runs in Medium and High resolution.
ADVENTR This version of Adventure was written/compiled by Marvin W.
Rasmussen. This is a restoration based on three previous versions of
the classic Original Adventure game (sometimes called Colossal Cave
Adventure or simply Adventure). The goal in preparing this version
was to make this game available on a modern, generally available
personal computer and thus (hopefully) preserve it for the next
generation of computer enthusiasts. This game was literally the
first game of its type; since it was named "Adventure", that became
the name of the entire family.
AGTSHELL Adventure Game Tookit - SHELL version 1.0.0 by Dan Panke is actually
two programs used in conjunction with THE ADVENTURE GAME TOOLKIT (by
David R. Malmberg and Mark J. Welch). The original AGT programs are
a bit of a pain as they require the source code and compiled code to
be in the same path as the AGT program files. AGT-Shell corrects this
problem. As well, AGT-Shell allows the user to select the programs to
compile or run via the file selector. Postcardware!
AKS Alfreds Kistenlager Schiebereien by Stefan Berlitz and Frank
Werninger. This monochrome only program will provide you with hours
of challenging puzzles. The rules are simple: With the arrow keys,
you control a worker who must shove barrels around a warehouse and
place them in the proper locations. You may not spend time leaning
against walls. The barrels must be pushed (that is, you must
position the worker "behind" them) rather than pulled. Includes
English and German docs.
AMAZE Amaze version 1.0 by Peter Hellinger is a clone of a game originally
written by Michael Allen called WESP/ST The object of the game is to
clear the squares from the screen. Your position is the highlighted
square. Move with the cursor keys. Be careful: If there is no square
in the direction you moved, the game is over! To jump over a square
press the shift key and a cursor key together. AMAZE!!! will jump
only over one square at a time. Solve the sixteen levels and you'll
be the king of the maze!
AMOEBA Amoeba Wars! version 1.0 by Larry Roux/"Too Hip!" software. Amoeba
Wars is based on the classic computer game of Life, only where in
Life you try to create a self perpetuating "society", in Amoeba Wars
you also have an opponent trying to wipe out your civilization....
the survivor wins! You have a choice of three game levels: Small,
Medium, Large. Each playfield has a different sized playing field,
and the smaller fields SHOULD make for a shorter game.
ASTR_ST Asteroidia - Atari ST version! by Dave Munsie is an arcade style game
that involves little strategy but provides hours of fun. You are
flying around in space trying to destroy all the asteroids that are
heading toward your home planet. You'll also have to contend with
little alien thingys that want to destroy your ship!
ATC Air Traffic Controller (ATC) by Victor Eijkhout. ATC lets you try
your hand at the nerve wracking duties of the air traffic controller
without endangering the lives of millions of travelers each year.
Your goal in Atc is to keep the game going as long as possible. There
is no winning state, except to beat the times of other players. You
can launch planes by increasing their altitude, land planes by
letting go to altitude zero when exactly over the airport, maneuver
planes out of the arena. Shareware!
AWG A.W.G. (Another Word Game) by Dave Burns. This game is for 1 or 2
players, in ST low resoution color only. Each game consists of 3
rounds of hangman, with a bonus round between each, and a challange
round. When there are 2 players, only the high scorer for the
preceeding round plays the bonus. In the bonus round you must figure
out a phrase as soon as possible, as letters are displayed one by
one. In the challange round you must unscramble as many words as you
can in the specified time limit.
AXIS AXIS by Ross McNaughton is a puzzle game set on a grid of 54 tiles.
Each tile is divided along the diagonals into four colored segments.
The object is to match up the adjacent faces of all the tiles, by
'reflecting' them across the horizontal, vertical and diagonal axes.
This takes place against a strict time limit. There is always a
solution; the computer generates a solution first, then scrambles it
using only legal moves, so it is always possible to get back to that
solution. The chances are that there will be plenty of other
solutions, any one of which will do - you don't have to find the one
that the computer started with.
AZARIAN AZARIAN - beta test version 0.87 by David Thomas Stewart. AZARIAN is
a space strategy game. You command the LF-9 starfighter, your enemy,
the evil Thraxx, has spread across the galaxy and now threatens to
dominate the Terran frontier. They refuse negotiations. YOUR
OBJECTIVES: Beware the Thraxx aggressors, Destroy as many basestars
as possible, Survive as long as possible
BACKGAMM BACKGAMMON by Ralf Reißing is a slick public domain version of
Backgammon for the Atari ST. It requires a monochrome monitor and an
ST with a TOS version below 2.0 (it will NOT work with TOS 2.0 or
higher!). All documentation is in German.
BALLER21 Ballerburg 2 is a GEM based game in which two "castles" or "forts"
seperated by a mountain shoot at each other over the mountain. The
object is to knock down the other castles walls and bomb the king of
the castle. The game and all docs are in German.
BALLS Balls - The Puzzle Game by Simon Carter is very simple to play. The
idea is to guide one or more balls around the top-view screen,
picking up all of the orange pods, and then allowing just one of the
balls to get to an exit. This must be made within a certain time
limit, and without touching the deadly spikes - if just one ball
bursts, you lose one of your 5 lives and you must start the screen
from the beginning. Shareware!
BANDWURM Bandwurm by Rainer Prestele is a monochrome only game in which a worm
is moved about the screen in order to "eat" little black squares.
The worm will move forward without any nudge from you, but your mouse
can control his direction; clicking the left mouse button will cause
him to turn left, the right makes him turn right. In my experience,
transferring the orientation of the worm from the screen to my
fingers is the most challenging aspect of the program; I have lots of
trouble deciding which button to push! Includes both German and
English documentation.
BATMAN BATMAN: The Batwing! by Charles E. Cullinan II. When the game starts
you will see an intro screen. If you don't want to see the intro
screen all the time, then just hold the right mouse button when you
see the author's name appear and the game will start. Use the mouse
to move the Batwing on the screen. Use the Left fire button to shoot.
BIGLIFE3 BigLife version 3.00 by Owen Rees is a life player for big patterns.
Life was invented by John H. Conway, a distinguished mathematician at
the University of Cambridge. It is a 0 player game; you choose a
starting pattern, the rules determine its successor patterns. The
fascination is that it is very difficult to predict the fate of an
arbitrary pattern, and you can set up patterns that interact in
intricate and complex ways.
BLUDGEON Bludgeon from The Seaton Shareware Cooperative. This version of
Bludgeon contains a single fully playable solo adventure. Further
adventures can only be loaded and played with a registered copy of
Bludgeon. The Bludgeon gaming system is not like a traditional
computer game. Though Bludgeon adventures can be played as stand
alone solo adventures the program was originally conceived as a tool
so that fantasy wargame battles could be enjoyed by multi-player
groups either as tactical wargames or as a part of fantasy role
playing adventures. Shareware!
BOGGLER Boggler is a Boggle-type game for the ST, pitting you against your
computer. The game is GEM-based, and should be fairly easy to learn
if you know your way around GEM at all. The object of the game is to
form words by connecting adjoining dice. They must always be
adjacent, but the play options set different criteria for which of
those letters can be used.
BREAKOUT Super Break-Out by Mark Overmars is a great public domain clone of
Arkanoid, the Revenge of Doh, Impact, Stone Breaker, Break-Out, and
all the others. Super Break-Out is all of them and much more. Play
it and enjoy it. The author takes no responsibility for addiction.
CASKENO Casino Keno version 1.0 by Glenn W. Ulrich faithfully simulates keno
games in Nevada, allowing the player to mark on a keno card up to 15
numbers out of 80. It will start the player out with $100 of his own
money in an account at the Casino. CASINO KENO deviates from Nevada
Keno in that the player is limited to not more than a $39 wager each
game. If the players account drops below the $39 maximum wager
allowed, the player must allow the house (casino) to extend a $100
line of credit before play can continue. The casino will keep a 10%
service charge. If at any time the player elects to "Leave the
Casino" the account information is saved to disk so that play can
continue later where it left off.
CBZONE10 CBZONE version 1.0 for the Atari. This is a BATTLEZONE type game
originally written in Fortran. At some point it was converted to C
using X-Windows as its output form. The executables in this archive
are a port to the Atari ST of this version, substituting GEM for the
X-Windows. Port done by Roland Givan. For those of you not familier
with Battlezone, it's a 3D tank battle arcade game. The view is
through the front of your tank and all the enemy appears as wire
frame objects. There are also obstacles in the form of cubes and
pyramids. The object of the game is to shoot as many enemy vehicles
as possible.
CELEST Celestial Ceasars by Grapevine Software, Inc. is a sapce warfare
game. The object is to explore as much of the grid as possible and
to gain control of as many planets as possible. The winner is the
player with the largest score. Shareware!
COLCLASH Color-Clash by AnimalSoft. This game is a puzzlegame...No ! don't
run away ! It's not a rip-off of some existing formula (say collumns
or tetris), it's a 100% original, state-of-the-art puzzler, that
borrows from no-one!! Shareware!
COLLAPSE Collapse version 1.1 by Dave Henry. Blocks fall in groups of three.
The object is to line up three or more of the same type in
horizontal, vertical or diagonal rows. When this occurs the blocks
dissolve and any remaining blocks above collapse downward.
COLRQUST Color Quest by J. P. Peach is a simple game that can really shape up
your memory. The game board consists of four color buttons. The
object of the game is to remember which buttons the computer or
another player selected (in order) while continually adding new
buttons to the sequence. Shareware!
COOLTRIS The unofficial ATARI ST version of Tetris by Trevin Beattie. In the
author's words: "This is NOT another TETRIS clone! I emphasize NOT a
CLONE! THIS TETRIS is the real thing! Well, as close as I could
come to it on my own. I spent weeks as the arcade studying the
official ATARI game in order to get every detail just right."
Shareware!
CRIBBAGE Cadenza Cribbage version 1.9 by Eric Bergman-Terrell. Cribbage is a
two player card game. The players take turns being the dealer.
Cards are valued as follows: ace is worth 1, number cards are worth
their face value, and tens and face cards are worth 10.
CTRON Cyclotron by Ross McNaughton is a one-player version of light cycles,
played as a tournament over 20 rounds against a variety of computer
opponents. The game is joystick controlled, the only time you need
to use the keyboard is to enter your name at the beginning of each
game. Use the fire button to move between game screens. The computer
opponents are equipped with either slow or fast bikes, yours is
always dual-speed. Normally you move at the slower speed; hold down
the fire button to move faster.
DANDUNGN Dangimere Module II -- The Dungeon by Jeffrey Bilger. This is level
1 to the Dungeon. If you liked Dungeonmaster, I think you'll like
this!
DISCODAD Disco Daddy, the Hip Dance Puzzle by William Mills. The game is
pretty simple it's just one of those little sliding tile puzzles (the
2D predecessor to the Rubic's cube) with an entertaining dance twist.
Use Joystick1 to move the dancer onto one of the tiles that can be
slid (one that is next to the empty spot) and press the fire button.
DISCOVER Discover by Juergen Keitel is a game for the Atari ST, STe, TT, or
Falcon. Discover is a Minesweeper variant. The docs are in German
but an English version of the game is included.
DNGNMSTR A collection of Help files, Hints, Spells, maps, etc. for Dungeon
Master. If you want to find out something about the game, then
probably the info you seek is contained in this folder. Do not look
in this folder if you wish to finish Dungeon Master "without any
help".
DOWNFALL Down Fall by Andrew Sage. The idea of the game is to make the snow
pile up to the top of the other players side of the screen. Player
one uses joystick one to control their cursor. They are allocated
the left hand side of the screen. Player two uses the other joystick
and the other side of the screen. Shareware!
DRACHEN Drachen by Dirk Waitha is a computerized version of the classic
Chinese tile game sometimes called Shanghai. This version runs in ST
Monochrome mode. Very well done and very addictive!
DRNECRO Dr. Necro version 0.40 by Ken Schafer. Dr. Necro is an Atari ST
game, similiar to Dr. Mario(tm) on the Nintendo(tm) game system. This
is *not* a finished product. The intro and endings are, of course,
incomplete. The background music is, shall we say, rough? However,
the game is playable as is, and should provide a stable beta test
platform. Shareware!
ERGON Ergon is a futuristic strategy game for two players. The playing area
represents a new planet on which each player is trying to establish a
colony, and the objective is to ensure that your colony survives by
destroying your opponent's headquarters.
FIGHTER The STellar STarfighter. Welcome to STellar STarfighter
headquarters. As a rookie cadet, you will need to prove your worth to
the fleet by carrying out a very difficult mission. You must fly
through STellar STarspace in your STellar STarship until you find the
caged Amigon, shoot him, and then return back to STellar Starfighter
headquarters. Two additional levels of difficulty must be overcome
before full STellar STarfighter STatus can be awarded. Good luck, and
may the STellar force be with you.
FIRSNARE FireSnare by RUIZ Lionel is a 2 player worm game (bite and eat the
opponent to win). In normal mode the worm has only his head and four
circles. You can move it in all the joystick directions (with
diags). No head can collide another head! Contains both English and
French documentation.
FLIFE106 Fastlife version 1.06 by Tim Newsome by Hans Wessels is a
mathematical game thought up by someone named John H. Conway, who was
a mathematician at the University of Cambridge. Life is quite often
referred to as a game, which it actually isn't. Life is just a set
of rules which are applied to a big field which is filled with cells.
Each cell is either dead or alive. Live cells are represented as
black pixels, dead ones as white pixels. You sit back and watch the
generations roll by - each generation will form a new pattern.
FLIGHT Flight Levels. It's time to put on the flight goggles and get to
business. You are a crack pilot and have been called to battle the
forces of evil that are plaguing the planet. Double click on the
program, and when the tower gives you approval, press "P" to play.
FOOTBALL Football by Jeff Parkhurst, is a medium resolution football program
written in Alcyon C using the DRI developer kit. It is Freeware.
laying is rather straightforward...just follow the prompts. If you
become impatient waiting for the message to finish scrolling on the
message board, just click the left mouse button to terminate it. The
game will continue on.
GNUCHESS This is GNU Chess version 4.0, ported to C++, ported to the Atari ST/
TT with a GEM user interface added. Runs in any resolution, has full
window, mouse support, etc. This is version 0.9 of the GEM user
interface. This is a VERY good chess game. The computer is an
extremely good player.
HERO Hero version 1.0 by Dan Winslow. The beautiful Princess Pulchra has
been taken captive by the really naughty wizard Baldur. The King
wants her back, and you, being a real Hero, are determined to rescue
her. In order to do this, you must find your way to the lowest
section of the dungeon and find the room containing the princess.
She is held in a cell in this room. Also in this room is Baldur
himself. Good luck. You must kill Baldur somehow, and open the door
to the cell. The princess will follow you wherever you go, but when
going from room to room or from level to level she must be within a
certain distance from you in order to follow.
HIQGAME Hi-Q Robert Feinman is a simple implementation of the board game
Hi-Q. The original is played on a plastic board with pegs placed in
holes in a cross pattern. The object is to remove all but one the of
the pegs by jumping the pegs from one hole over another peg as in
checkers. The peg jumped over is removed. A perfect score is one
peg left in the center hole. This version just replicates the board
and movements. It does not provide any logic or hints for the
player.
ISOLA350 ISOLA version 3.50 by Thierry Grellier is a little 2 player strategy
game. The goal of the game is to place blocks in your opponent's
path so that he or she cannot move. It runs on every Atari computer
in any resolution. To be fully enjoyed, this game needs 1st Guide
accessory to access to the online help. I also recommend to use
WINX, to avoid trouble with the limited number of windows. Freeware!
ITF_BIN InfoTaskForce's Infocom Interpreter version 4.01 patch-level 2
compiled for Atari ST by Lars Joedal. This program will let you play
ANY Infocom game as long as you can supply the data files. That means
you can buy an IBM version of an Infocom game and use this program to
play it on your Atari ST.
JAC_BALL JACEREBALL by Donald Sapello. JACEREBALL is a fast paced, two
player, arcade action game which combines the challenge of sports
with the thrill of combat! Try to get the ball *to your goal* as you
evade your opponent's fire! Shareware!
JITTRBUG Jitterbugs by Aaron Fothergill. This game will support up to 32 (Yes
thirty two!) players in real time . Each player must have his own ST
as a terminal and they all must be linked together by MIDI cables in
a ring network.
JOUST Joust is a public domain adaption of the popular Atari™ arcade game.
It is accurate in every detail. Use fire button to flap your wings,
thus gaining height. Height is most important in this game, since
whoever is highest when a collision occurs, wins the joust. If both
contenders have the same heigth, nothing happens. Collect the eggs
before they hatch and the riders before they mount !
LANCELOT Lancelot by Alois Felber is a computer version of Roland Sieger's
board game Lancelot. It can be played by up to 5 people. The aim of
the game is to remove a certain amount of enemy counters from the
gameboard by outnumbering them by two within a row of the gameboard.
Don't ask me why this game is called Lancelot. Perhaps the knights
of the round table played it instead of chopping each other to pieces
when king Arthur finally had united the country and there was no work
left to do. Includes both English and German versions. Donationware.
LIFE_ST Life ST by Jeff Bowden is a fast real-time implementation of John
Conway's matrix game "life". This program is GEM-based and is
intuitively easy to use. A majority of computer users know about or
have seen this game before so I won't go in to a detailed explanation
of how to play. Suffice it to say that it's not a game in the
traditional sense of playing to win but more of a computerized toy.
MACPAN MacPan by Richard Beith is a one or two player game. It offers both
English and German versions of the program and documentation.
MAPPER Dungeon Master version 1.0 by Jeff Casbeer is like a word processor
for role playing game (RPG) maps. It's designed to produce an output
quality somewhere between full-blown artwork and hand-drawn maps. It
is an icon based program; maps are drawn with graphics "blocks" which
are produced in advance, but can be edited later. Maps can be any
size up to the limits of memory. Legend facilities: Icons can be
legended, with up to five lines of text per entry. The program will
output maps either tiled (tape the pages together into one big map)
or paged (put them in a notebook; includes edge-of-page references to
other pages as needed).
MAZE Maze by John Parker and Martin Dennett is a game that features: split
screen two player action, you can see the other player, you can play
TAG or SHOOT, two possible game scenarios, very fast MACHINE CODE
graphics in 3D.
MAZEWAR Mazewar ST by Andrei Ellman of Wacko Software. The object of this
game is simple, just shoot your opponents. This game is an improved
version of the Atari 8 bit game Mazewar. The object was to negotiate
your way around a maze and shoot anything blocking the path between
you and your opponents. If you shot a wall, an explosion was given
off in three directions and anybody standing too close would get
blown up.
MEGAMAZE MegaMaze by Eric B. Lindros. As with all mazes, the object of
MegaMaze is to find your way out. However, in MegaMaze there are a
number of objects designed to prevent you from doing so. On the
other hand, a few objects will help you meet you objective. Here is
a breakdown of what you might encounter: Monsters, Missiles, Money,
Explosives, Keys, Doors, Door openers, Missile launchers, Monster
generators, Scrolls, First aid, and much more.
MIDI_WIZ MIDIWiz version 1.0 by Heiko Hartmann [English translation by Paul
Purdom]. The special feature for MIDIWiz is that you can
interconnect several Ataris together and consequently can play
simultaneously with up to 6 players in a net. In addition the MIDI
ring net can be used for the programs MidiMaze, MidiMaze II, Little
Net, MidiCom, Midi-battle and Cold Revenge! Includes both German and
English versions of the game and documentation. Shareware!
MINES Mines version 1.00 by More Soft is another implementation of the
classic mines game. The game and docs are in German. Shareware!
MINIGOLF MiniGolf by Gregor Englmayer is a miniature golf simulation. The
game and documentation are in German but it is a straightforward game
and shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
MONO This game of MONOPOLY is free to everyone from David Addison and
I.B. Computers. It is a pretty good version of Monopoly.
MORIA A port by Stephen Jacobs of umoria to the Atari ST. This is pretty
much Jim Wilson's UNIX version 4.87, with various features that
didn't make sense on a single-user machine disabled. In particular,
the saved character files may be copied freely. When using the print
map command, you will notice that it prints a map to a file, rather
than showing one on screen. That's the way this version is: just
like the VAX original.
MORPION4 Morpion by Rodziewitz Kirstin is not another simple version of the
classical tic tac toe game, it's a 3D version (in wich you can see
the grids side by side on the plane instead of a projection of a
third dimensional grid), AND A 4D SPECIAL VERSION. For this one, the
grids are also side by side so it can be a little difficult, at the
begining, to visualize which cases are in the same line.
MSTMIROR Mystic Mirrow by Jim Todd. In a land far away a powerful wizard
enchanted his life force into a golden skull and proclaimed himself
to be a god. Then in a display of his malevolence he conquered the
citadel known as the MYSTIC MIRROR. You play the part of adventurer
who has vowed to defeat his evil plans and prevent the destruction of
your world.
M_STONES Magic Stones version 1.05 by Emanuel Möcklin is a program that
implements three different games (Tetris, Bitris, and Columns). It
uses only GEM functions and because of that it runs on any Atari
ST(E)/TT/Falcon and so on. It runs as an accessory and as program.
NOLIMIT2 No Limit 2 version 1.07 by Andreas Kröber, Harald Bender, and Patrice
Petong is a pinball game. This version of No Limit II runs on color
and monochrome STes, TTs and Falcons. One Megabyte of ram is
required. Includes English and German documentation.
NOSTRAM Nostram is an adventure game from Dan Walton/Powerfist Productions.
The instructions are inside the game - so run the game and get ready
to set off on your quest. Shareware!
OMEGA202 Omega is a complex rogue-style game of dungeon exploration. Unlike
other such games, there are a number of ways to "win", depending on
various actions taken during play. The ways you can get your name on
the hiscore board include becoming the highest ranked head of a
guild, sect, college, etc., as well as gaining the most points
figured from possessions and experience.
P94_REVD AstroPanic 94! rev d. by Dan Ackerman. Well your homeland is being
attacked by aliens in flying saucers. Luckily for you, they are
extremely stupid. Unluckily for you, they are extremely stupid. You
are on the frontier in your state of the art astro cannon, blasting
the badies from the stratosphere. Watch out, as time goes on they
get more numerous. Shareware!
PBMCHESS PBMCHESS (Play by Modem Chess) by Odisseas Kosmatos. For those Chess
adicts who love the game so much, or for those people who at some
time or other are very bored and have a friend who's just as bored,
now you can play chess in your own home against an opponent who is
not. True, there is Battle-Chess on the ST, that lets you play using
the STs modem port, but 1) Most people dont have it, it costs $$, and
also, one gets very tired of the graphics after a little while.
PEARL_93 Dark Pearl by Dave Munsie. The object of Dark Pearl is to traverse
the vertically scrolling field while picking up (bouncing on) the
red-green-blue jewels along the way. Various tiles will help or
hinder you on the way. When you make it all the way up to the top of
the field (7 screens up) and all of the jewels are collected you
proceed to the next level! If you still have jewels left you are
sent back to the start of the field to try again. Use your joystick
to guide the pearl over the tiles. There are 10 levels in all. Levels
4 and 8 are bonus rounds.
PILEUP PileUp version 3.0 by Russell Moll. The basic premise of the game is
similar to TETRIS (tm). You must guide various blocks down the
screen and try to fit them together as close as possible as they pile
up. If you fit together a layer without leaving any spaces, then
that layer will collapse. If you collapse enough layers, then you
will advance to the next level. If the pile of blocks reaches the
top, then the game is over.
PIPETRIS PipeTris by Ross McNaughton. As its name suggests, PIPETRIS is a
cross between Tetris and Pipemania. As in Pipemania, your task is to
create a pipe for a liquid to flow through, but whereas in that game
the pipe sections can be placed anywhere on screen, in PIPETRIS they
fall into a well Tetris-fashion. Unlike Pipemania, they can be
rotated.
POTHOLE2 Pothole 2 by Paul Grenfell is a twenty level game (As you may have
already guessed) based on those classic games like 'Boulderdash' that
were around years ago. The basic idea, and it is pretty basic, is to
'tunnel' through the very bowels of the Earth in a desperate bid to
'collect' all of the diamonds on a level and then head for the exit.
Your reward for this is to get to do it all over again on the next
level! Shareware!
PRENS Prensorium by Martin and Adrian Gibbins is an arcade puzzle type
game, the object of which is to destroy all enemies on each of fifty
levels. Each level has a bonus which counts down. Once this bonus
reaches 100, a siren is sounded as a warning. If the bonus reaches
zero, things really hot up and bombs start falling from the sky.
Shareware!
PUNSSI Punssi by Eero Tamminen is a small arcade game. Punssi works on ST
hi-rez and is intended for two players. The game doesn't need GEM's
presence to work (you can use it even with MiNT run from the auto
folder). The game idea is to score points by pushing (bouncing) the
ball to your home area on the opposite side of the screen and to
avoid the droids that tail you and your opponent. Fairware!
PUNT_II PUNT II. The game is really easy to play, all you have to do is kick
all the green changlings into the cages on each level. While you are
doing this if the green changlings fall to far they change into angry
red monsters which if they touch you deplete your time. After a while
the red monsters change back into green monsters so that you can kick
them once more.
REFLEX Reflex by Ellis Breen is a grid game. The aim of the game is to make
blocks of squares which are both horizontally and vertically
symmetrical and contain no empty squares. They must also be at least
one grid column wide and one grid row high. Reflex uses the Audio
Sculpture soundtracker replay routines.
REVENGE Welcome to the latest Llamasoft shareware release: Revenge of the
Mutant Camels. Revenge isn't quite as flat-out manic as Llamatron.
You may or may not be relieved to hear that. Revenge has the same
gameplay modes as Llamatron: Solo, Droid (called CPU ASSIST in
Revenge) and Two-Player. Shareware!
ROBERT Robert In The Fire Factory by Harald Siegmund is a "jump and run"
type game for the ST based on the Atari 8 bit game "Mr Robot and his
robot factory". Also works on the TT and Falcon. All documentation
is in German.
ROULETTE Roulette! Do you care to match wits with lady luck? Roulette will
test your fortitude and resolve. This game features all of the
standard American casino bets and rules, and a wheel spinning
sequence demonstrates the STs 3-D graphics capabilities.
RZONE R-ZONE by Ross McNaughton. This is a simple arcade puzzle in which
your task is to collect 12 radioactive pods in each of the nine
rooms. Your drone is joystick-controlled and all you need to do is
run over all the orange pods on each level. The floor tiles
disappear as you move off them, so you must plan your route
carefully. However, you must also keep moving. If you stop, the
