ACID The ACID BURN demo from the CareBears. Written by AN COOL, awesome

of Bugs Bunny playing in the background.

demo from the famous "AN Cool" of TCB tracker fame. Requires the
Magic Shadow archiver.
ANOMOLY ANOMOLY is a new 2 disk demo by French crew "MJJ Prod". It's got
loads of new screens, with loads of new effects, and contains a great
game!!! You need a version of the Magic Shadow Archiver to de-arc
the .MSA archived files.
ASSAULT "Assault and Battery", a CyberPaint animation by John C. Blakely. It
is a neat little cartoon to watch.
BADTASTE This is the Bad Taste demo, from the Swedish demo crew, Brainless
Institute. It plays something like a movie, with demo screens
running one after the other, with a brief comic interlude in between
each one. It's the comic interlude that might be considered 'bad
taste'. Requires the Magic Shadow Archiver.
BALLS An animation of three raytraced balls bouncing on a mirror. A
classic demo that is still pretty cool today.
BATDEMO This is the BATDANCE demo...yet another revision of the Micro Mix II

The "author" (modifier might be more appropriate) modified the

BIGPATH Bigpath animation by Dan Bordonaro using Chronos software. Features
a nut traveling along a pipe - its better than its sounds. Requires
a one megabyte machine. A player program is included.

more appropriate sound for the Jessica Rabbit sequence. Requires a
minimum of 2 megabytes of ram. This is STILL an excellent demo!!!
Definitely worth looking at.
CHOICEG The "Choice of Gods" demo by Halocaust. A graphics and sound demo
for the ST. You will need to "UN-MSA" these files before you run the
demo. An "UN-MSA" program is available in the /Utility/Archiver/

rotating, re-sizing and re-drawing intermediate positions.
CYLONS Oh no ... They're here. Those nasty CYLONS - You've tried scrubbing
them out but they just keep on coming! 8 frame animation fun for
you! Move the mouse vertically to control the SPEED of the show.

format. Requires the Magic Shadow Archiver.
HOTLINE The "Hotline" graphics and sound demo - in MSA format. Requires the
Magic Shadow Archiver.
JACK Bouncing Jack animation by John Krsek. This simple yet striking
animation was created by using CAD 3D to create the basic jack. The
center parts are spun/stretched objects which were moved into place
and the spheres were attached to the ends. The entire object was
then rotated and shot.
KRUZ This is a Finnish demo, from 7th Son of KRUZ. Requires the Magic
Shadow Archiver. It will extract onto a single-sided disk, and will
run on a 520. This file needs to write 82 sectors. Some ST drives
will not do that.
KRYSTAL This is the Krystal mega-demo, from a demo crew called the Full Metal
Computers Connexion. The 'menu' screen is nicely done, and the
individual screens are a mix of good and average things. It does
work fine with TOS 2.06, but previous TOS versions are untested.
Requires the Magic Shadow Archiver.
LCD Little Computer Demo (also known as the "Robb Says Demo") by TEX (The
EXceptions) of the Union. Features lots of colors, scrolling on the

LEXICOR The Lexicor Demo created with the Phase-4 Animation System. A
TinyToy rolls across the floor, frantically banging his drum and
playing his accordion. A monster baby totters after him, gurgling
and trailing a long stream of repulsive drool. The TinToy scoots
under the couch, only to find himself in the company of dozens of
other, frightened toys cowering in the darkness. The monster baby's
movements are lifelike; it's drool is especially disgusting.

catch phrase "Only from the minds of Atari". Animation by John F.

MINITORP NCC-1701 (Motion Picture Version) Firing Photon Torpedos by Maurice
Molyneaux is an animation that depicts the "movie" Enterprise firing
photon torpedoes. The torpedoes (two of them) emerge from the base
of the ship's "neck" and come nearly head-on at the camera (passing
just to camera right). The animation itself should load on ANY ST or
TT computer provided it has a least 512K of RAM.
MONARCH A great graphics/sound demo from Portland, OR. A quiet, serene
forest is invaded by the earth-rocking appearance of the Monarch
logo. Digitized sound is very good. Another MUST SEE.

the Magic Shadow Archiver.

just fine on an AdSpeed enhanced STe with TOS 2.06, so it should run
on older, unenhanced machines. Requires the Magic Shadow Archiver.
PATV_6 Here is an example of what can be done with the VideoMaster Multi-
media System, a VCR, and a 4MB ATARI 1040STFM. The video clip was
made by Tomas Vigil, a local Public Access TV Producer. This is also
an example of how you can convert your "message" into an electronic
medium and upload it for others to view, thus spreading your
"message" to a wider audience.
PETE This is a demo called Pete, from a coders' conference (party) held in
Great Britain, and only finished up in April of 1993. While it isn't
the absolute greatest demo around, it's not too bad... Requires the
Magic Shadow Archiver.
PHALEON This is the long awaited Phaleon Demo by NeXT. It consists of 4
disks!!! Un-MSA all the files (except PHALEO1F.MSA) to floppy. Disk
#1 will be corrupted so after you have Un-MSAed it you must then
Un-MSA the PHALEO1F.MSA file to disk one. This will fix the
corruption. Enjoy!

animate the graphics. This demo requires a color monitor, and at
least one megabyte of memory to run.
SOWATT SOWATT demo by TCB. Another Awesome Megademo! This one is a combined
effort by many groups. It's got an amazing fullscreen menu. This
demo also has an awesome loader which plays a MOD file while doing
graphics animation and loading from disk! Requires the Magic Shadow
Archiver.
SPACEDOK NCC-1701-D Entering Spacedock by Maurice Molyneaux is an animation
that depicts the Galaxy Class U.S.S. Enterprise entering a spacedock.
The view is from within the dock, looking at the open doors through
which the Enterprise enters. The flyby is nice enough, but the real
point of this otherwise tedious exercise was to create a realistic
"shadow" element, which you will notice (how could you not?) as the
ship passes from the bright light outside the dock into the shadowy
dock interior. The shadow rolls realistically across the ship.
SPHERE Super Boink - the familiar bouncing ball, but this one allows you to
control it's movement, rotation, etc. An excellent sequel to the
original Boink!!
SPOON ULM's DARK SIDE OF THE SPOON graphics and sound demo. Requires color
display and D/S drive. Does NOT work on an STe. Requires the Magic
Shadow Archiver.

Amiga. In .SEQ format with a player program.
WARPCRUZ NCC-1701-D In Warp Demo by Maurice Molyneaux is an animation that
depicts the U.S.S. Enterprise cruising through space (at about warp
7). The ship itself does not move in the animation (otherwise it

a multi-layered starfield whizzing by at warp velocity, complete with
the Next Generation's customary streaked-star effect.

megabyte of ram.
