Press and hold the right mouse button while dragging the mouse down until the name or picture of the topic you want is displayed. There are enhancements however: - The left end of the window's move bar displays the coordinates of the cursor's position. - If you put the cursor inside a window and then drag the mouse with the right mouse button held down, the image will move in the appropriate direction: left, right, up, or down. This feature of INVISION Elite is called "Instant Access Panning", - To_bring a "buried" window (image) to the top of the pile, click its name in the Window dropdown menu. - You can also bring a window to the top by pressing the [8] key on the numeric keypad. Shuffling windows in this fashion is called "window cycling". MENU BAR: / File Window Settings The Menu Bar, which contains the File, Window, and Settings dropdown menus, adheres to the GEM standard. - Some of the functions found in the File dropdown menu can be also be found in the Icon Bar on the left side of the screen. - Keyboard equivalents are found beside some entries in the dropdown menus. INFO LINE: Pattern CPG16263| T C I O Snap Set Lock Mask Welcome to INVISION Elite The Info Line (under the Menu Bar) presents the status of some of the most frequently used functions. - You can switch a function on or off by clicking its button. - Help messages are presented at the right end of the Info Line. INVISION Elite names the icon (function) on which the cursor is resting or passing. - The Info Line can be dragged by using its move box, found immediately to the left of the word "Pattern". Do not confuse this nove box with that at the top left of the Icon Bar, the Icon Bar's move box. ICON BAR: The Icon Bar is used to activate functions of INVISION Elite. - At the top of the Icon Bar is the color box. Clicking on the color box switches the current color between black and white. - Clicking on most icons in the Icon Bar produces a popout menu; the functions of each popout menu relate to the main icono - The Patterns icon and the Brushes icon operate differently than the other icons in the Icon Bare The Patterns icon displays the current pattern. Clicking the Patterns icon brings up a dialog box. If you hold the left mouse button down after clicking on the Patterns icon and then move the mouse up or down, you will cycle through the available patterns. - The Brushes icon operates under the same principles as the Patterns icon. - The Icon Bar can be dragged by using its move box, found immediately to the right of the color box. FONT ICON: The presence of this icon shows that a font is loaded. Only one font can be in memory at a time. - Clicking the Font icon opens the font window. You can now edit the font by accessing the dialog box used to load it. Closing the font window sends the font back to the Font icon where it remains until you need ito - The Font icon may be dragged around the screen.
