(1) If you are using an Adobe Type 1 compatible PostScript printer, copy all the FM and 36H files from the PAGESTRM folder, and the PSF and PFA files located in the PGS_TYP1 folder within the PAGESTRM folder into your PSFONTS directory. The PFA files are special ASCII Type 1 fonts encoded especially for
PageStream 1.8x. They will only download to an Adobe compatible Postscript Printer.
(2) If you are NOT using a PostScript printer, copy all the FM, 36H and
DMF files located in the PAGESTRM folder into the PSFONTS directory.
(3) If you are using UltraScript, copy all the FM and 36H files from the
PAGESTRM folder, and the PSF and PFA files located in the PGS_TYP3 folder
within the PAGESTRM folder into your PSFONTS directory
Now run PageStream and install the fonts (how you do this will depend
on your version of PageStream). The font names should appear in the
font selector.
USING FONTS WITH PAGESTREAM 2.1
-------------------------------
You have the choice of using the DMF & FM files located in the PAGESTRM
folder, or the PFB and AFM files located in the TYPE_1 folder. The 36H
screen fonts will not be accessed by PGS 2.0, so fonts will be rendered
for the screen from the Type 1 file or the DMF file. DO NOT INSTALL
BOTH DMF/FM and PFB/AFM sets in 2.1. This will cause problems.
