  1. The following files are included in BJ200.ZIP.
  2. BJ200.CNF      EZ-Score printer driver un-compressed print.
  3. BJ200C.CNF     EZ-Score printer driver compressed print.
  4. BJ200.TXT      This file.

  6. In order to use the BJ200 with EZ-Score you must set the dip 
  7. switches on the printer. Minimally, dip switch 12 must be on for 
  8. Epson emulation. I also have dip switch 2 on which is required 
  9. for any program that assumes that the printer can print 66 lines/page 
  10. otherwise your output will be missing lines.

  12. EZ-Score comes with a program CONFIG.TTP. You can use this program
  13. to create custom printer drivers. You run the program by launching
  14. CONFIG.TTP and enter the name of the printer driver you want to
  15. modify. I started with a 24 Pin Star printer and changed two
  16. lines:

  18. For BJ200C.CNF, (compressed print)  I set Lines per Page to 
  19. 2160 and Dot Columns per line to 1440. For BJ200.CNF, I set
  20. Lines per page to 2160 and dot Columns per Line to 960.

  22. The EZ-Score documentation for CONFIG.TTP does not explain
  23. how to calculate the proper settings for a particular printer.
  24. All of the supplied drivers caused my BJ200 to print the page
  25. number on a separate page. The settings in BJ200C.CNF and 
  26. BJ200.CNF keep the page number on the same page as the music.

  28. I also recommend that EZ-Score users use either the Share Ware
  29. FPPRNT.PRG or the commercial product, OUTBURST!. FPPRNT.PRG easily 
  30. doubled the speed of my printouts.!!!!
