  26. Known problems
  27. --------------

  29. Defective coprocessors.  Mercury exercises the math coprocessor fairly
  30. thoroughly, and a coprocessor which is not rated at the correct clock
  31. speed may not perform correctly.  If you get mysterious crashes, try
  32. turning of the math coprocessor with SET 87=N at the DOS prompt.

  34. The newer Intel 80287 chips and clone chips will be identified as a
  35. an 80387, as they behave more like a 80387.

  37. The LOAN.EKA example in chapter 6 of the manual is stated incorrectly.
  38. The file provided on the disk has the proper formulation.

  40. User-defined functions cannot be used in a problem where all the
  41. variables are complex.
  42.  
  43. Mercury uses a lot of RAM.  You may have unload some of your TSRs or
  44. device drivers for Mercury to run.
