  1. The Fishbase and Bass Tips systems have been provided on
  2. this disk in an archived form in order to save space and to keep the
  3. files together.  In order to retrieve the files:
  4.  
  5. With a 2-floppy system:
  6.  
  7. 1) Put a blank (formatted) disk in the B: drive - See the inside back
  8. cover of the Public Brand Software catalog for preparation information.
  9.  
  10. 2) At the A> prompt, issue the command  A> PKUNZIP FISHBASE B:
  11.  
  12. With a hard disk system:
  13.  
  14. 1) Prepare a subdirectory for the data  C> MD\NEWDIR
  15. (NEWDIR is any name you wish -
  16. or pick an existing subdirectory)
  17.  
  18. 2) Go to that new subdirectory          C> CD\NEWDIR
  19.  
  20. 3) Issue the command                    C> A:PKUNZIP A:FISHBASE
  21.  
  22. With a 1 floppy system:
  23.  
  24. 1) Prepare a blank (formatted) disk - See the inside back cover of the
  25. Public Brand Software catalog for preparation information.
  26.  
  27. 2) Copy PKUNZIP.EXE and FISHBASE.ZIP    to the new disk this may involve
  28. some disk swapping.
  29.  
  30. A> COPY PKUNZIP.EXE B:
  31. A> COPY FISHBASE.ZIP B:
  32.  
  33. 3) Ending up with the new disk in the drive issue the command
  34.  
  35. A> PKUNZIP FISHBASE
  36.

  38. Repeat the above for the other .ZIP file on the disk: BASSTIPS
  39.

  42. Note: Due to space constraints, FISH-N-LOG PLUS has been removed from
  43.       this disk.

  47. The documentation files on this disk can be identified by their
  48. extensions of .DOC, .TXT, or names like README.
  49.  
  50. You will find documentation files such as these within each archive.
  51.  
  52. These can be viewed with the  PBS-VIEW  program such as  PBS-VIEW PBS.TXT
  53. or shown on the screen with the  TYPE  command such as   TYPE PBS.TXT
  54. or copied to the printer with the  COPY  command such as COPY PBS.TXT PRN
  55.  
  56. Any small programs on this disk that don't have documentation are
  57. self-explanatory when you run them.
