  2. Help with archived programs.

  4. The Kingdom's standard archive format is PKZIP/PKUNZIP. Please use this
  5. format whenever possible. All programs uploaded using other formats will be
  6. converted as time permits.
  7.  
  8. However, other types of archives do exist, so here are some hints.
  9.  
  10. Type of file           Use this program    Command to de-archive
  11. .ZIP                   PKZIP/PKUNZIP        PKUNZIP  file.ZIP
  12. .ARC, .PAK             PAK                  PAK e file.PAK (or file.ARC)
  13. .LZH                   LHARC                LHARC e file.LZH
  14. .ZOO                   LOOZ                 LOOZ e file.ZOO

  16. The newest version of PKZIP is 1.02, and may be found in the self-extracting
  17. archive file called PKZ102.EXE.
  18.  
  19. LHARC can be found in LH113.EXE.
  20.  
  21. PAK can be found in PAK20.EXE.
  22.  
  23. LOOZ can be found in LOOZ210.EXE.
  24.  
  25. Documentation for all of these is included with the program.
  26. All archive programs are stored in a self-extracting format.
