sSearching the
bookcase reveals a
novel entitled,
"Divine Gambits."
The author tells of
a friend, Richard,
who had left to wage
battle with
Krellane. She was
heart broken to
hear of his demise,
but wrote the tale
herein...
Possessed by an
insatiable quest for
justice and truth,
Richard set forth on
that glorious day,
hoping to kill his
friend. In his heart
he felt Krellane's
death would signify
his own demise. It
was that feeling
that allowed the
evil tyrant to gain
advantage on his
apparently
ex-friend, Richard.
. . .
The story continues,
but the interesting
twist occurs in one
description of the
king, Krellane.
Krellane was torn
between his natural
love of his children
and of his subjects.
Like most fathers he
fell victim to his
emotions and chose
his children above
the people he was to
rule. His people
would suffer
severely so that
Krellane's children
could live on, even
if they would live
on as reptiles, as
Gendors!@
sDescending into the
dark cavern invokes
a fear from within
you, a fear so
powerful you must
fight inwardly to
continue. The power
of Trinadon may be
more real than you
realized, more than
just a castle.
*5 256 56 2@
sEvery step you take
brings you closer to
the dismal castle of
Krellane. The shadow
cast upon you draws
your mind into
dreary thoughts of
despair.
