  1. If you are a pedestrian PC user reading this, I'm afraid  
  2. !Prophet, !Tanks and !Texture run only on super-fast Acorn Risc 
  3. computers, not on mere Dos or Windows machines (sorry).
  4. You can, however, read the text files within each of the folders.

  10. Acorn users will have to decompress the archives on this CD
  11. using !Sparkplug.  Just run !Sparkplug, then drop the archive onto it.
  12. A new window will open showing its contents, which you may need
  13. to copy to a floppy or hard disk and run from there.
  14. By archiving applications like this, we are not only saving space
  15. on the CD but also protecting Acorn filenames (more characters
  16. and not all capitals) and filetypes from dreadful Dos.

  18. If you do not already have !Sparkplug (or Spark or SparkFS), 
  19. a copy is provided on this Shopper CD. Here's what to do:
  20. 1. Copy the directory SPARKPLG to your hard disk or a floppy.
  21. 2. Open this copy. Press Menu over !GO and set its filetype to "Obey".
  22. 3. Doubleclick on !GO. 
  23. The application !Sparkplug will appear. To run it, doubleclick as usual.
  24. You may want to keep !Sparkplug in your Apps or Utilities folder 
  25. for future use. (You can delete the files used in the extraction process: 
  26. !Go, Nspark, Settypes.)
