  4. To forecast the next election in 5 easy steps..

  6. 1. Run UK-Elect
  7.  
  8. 2. Open UK97.ELN (close any other elections that are loaded)
  9.  
  10. 3. Select the "Opinion Poll Percentages" option from the "Forecast" 
  11.    menu
  12.  
  13. 4. Enter the latest opinion poll percentages (e.g. Conservative 35%, 
  14.    Labour 48%, Liberal Democrat 15%) and click on the "OK" button
  15.  
  16. 5. Select the "Opinion Poll Based Forecast" option from the "Forecast"
  17.    menu

  19. The "Votes and Seats" and "UK Schematic Map" graphics are a nice way
  20. of showing the overall situation
