- To use Terminate at the present moment, please use the newest COM drivers
- for OS/2. The new SIO1xx.ZIP drivers seem to perform very well with
- Terminate. Get the file from DAN BBS or nearest registration site.
-
- Please note that you do not need to have VX00.SYS when using Terminate and
- SIO. VX00.SYS is a fossil simulation driver, which is not needed since
- Terminate communicates with SIO directly. You can even risk hang problems,
- if you load VX00.SYS and use port 1 since Terminate will then detect a
- fossil driver on COM1 and OS/2 will immediately complain that someone is
- trying to use the mouseport.

- Terminate ---> OS/2 port simulation driver (SIO) ----> Comports
-
- In other words Terminate thinks that it has access to the hardware
- ports directly. Terminate does not even need to know that SIO is installed.
-
- Terminate runs without problems in a DOS box, it will detect OS/2 and
- release timeslices as needed.
-
- Terminate has even been tested under OS/2 running ISDN channel bundling
- with 15000 CPS without any problems using cFos.
