- XFERSTATS Revision History (In reverse order)
- -----------------------------------------------
-
-
- 20-Jan-93
- Recompiled for compaibilty with PCBoard /M FOSSIL version.
- Released as XSTAT141.ZIP
-
-
- 08-Aug-92
- Added better checking for whether the D/L of the list was completed
- or not. Changed the log entries somewhat.
-
- If a caller opened the door from a conference number greater than 256,
- they would end up in conference 256 upon return to the BBS. This
- version should correct this.
-
- Increased the number of entries allowed in XFERSTAT.DAT from 9 to 19.
-
- Updated the documentation.
- Released as XSTAT140.ZIP
-
-
- 29-Apr-92
- The [UNREGISTERED] messsage was being added to the header of the
- list even when registered.
-
- The STATSx.ZIP will now be deleted upon exiting the (C)reate
- function. It was being overwritten everytime a new one was created,
- but seeing it remain there seemed to make a few people nervous.
-
- Removed all delays in the un-registered version.
-
- Updated the documentation.
- Released as XSTAT137.ZIP
-
- 17-Apr-92
- Fixed a bug that could cause a stack-overflow runtime error
- when running in the XF SHELL mode.
- Thanks to Greg Parsons & Roger Sligar for pointing this one out.
- Released as XSTAT136.ZIP
-
- 11-Apr-92
- Added the ability to go directly to File Mode from the PCBoard
- command line. This will ONLY work when the door is being run
- in SHELL mode as specified in the .CNF file (see XFERSTAT.DOC).
-
- It would probably be wise to change the door batch filename to
- something like 'XF'. It could then be called from PCBoard as
- "XF anyfile.zip" and will proceed directly into File Mode.
-
- In fact, you could thru the use of different .CNF files run
- XferStats in SHELL mode *AND* as a regular door.
-
- There may have been a problem with displaying the optional
- XCLOSE file. Just as a reminder, this will ONLY be displayed
- when running as a non-shell door. This is to keep the seamless
- look when running in SHELL mode.
-
- There was a report of garbage being displayed upon exiting the
- door after a Create List function had been executed. I have not
- been able to re-create this. Updated documentaion.
- Released as XSTAT135.ZIP
-
- 10-Apr-92
- Changed the way user input is handled. This is a transparent
- change, except that the F-Keys WILL NOW work properly.
- Released as XSTAT132.ZIP
-
- 05-Apr-92
- Added a "Press (Enter) to continue:" prompt after the second
- screen of the [Y]our Stats display. I swear it was there, but
- I apparently lost it somewhere.. Thanks to Butch Dunn of
- The No*Name BBS for pointing that one out.
- Released as XSTAT131.ZIP
-
- 05-Apr-92
- Added the ability to run the door as a PCBoard "shell" function.
- When registered, the door is 100% seamless in operation. Added
- the [F]ile Stats function. This allows the normal user to find
- the date a file was U/L'd, how many times it has been D/L'd, and
- the date it was last D/L'd. If the caller has SysOp security as
- defined in XFERSTAT.CNF, then he/she will also be shown the name
- of the uploader. The entire filename must be entered here, unlike
- the [S]ysOp functions that perform like PCBoard's Zippy Scan.
-
- Two additional lines have been added to XFERSTAT.CNF. Line 7
- tells the program whether or not it is being run in SHELL mode.
- When set to YES, the "Create List" function will be disabled as
- there will not be sufficient memory available to execute the exter-
- nal programs. Line 8 simply toggles whether or not entries will be
- made to the CALLERx file(s). This also should be either YES or NO.
-
- Added a simple Help system. This is drawn from XFERSTAT.HLP and may
- be edited as you wish.
-
- The Menu(s) are also now external as XFMENU (normal user) and
- XFMENUS (SysOp level) and may also be tailored to suit your own taste.
- All of the external display files support PCBoard's @X color codes.
-
- I suggest if you are running the door as a SHELL program, that you
- remove the references to the "Create List" function from both the
- menu files and the help files.
-
- 04-Apr-92
- Fixed a bug in the (Y) function that could produce a
- Runtime Error under certain conditions. Thanks to
- Andy Brimson of The Orphan UK BBS for finding this one.
- Released as XSTAT127.ZIP
-
- 27-Mar-92
- First public release.
- Released as XSTAT125.ZIP
