- This is just a sample of how to write a help file for a pulldown menu.
- This sample goes with ANSIMAIN.XBS.

- This is the Main Menu.

- Select M, F, D, O or Q. Other options will appear under each. To
- Logoff, select Q.

- <Msgs>

- This option allows you to perform various functions on the message areas:

- BULLS: Bulls-mode is a quick way to get to all the message
- areas. It includes some commands designed to go through the message
- areas in order performing a task (like reading new messages in each
- area, checking for mail addressed to you, exporting messages for
- reading offline, and so on). The commands below may be used if you
- feel more comfortable firmly ensconced in one area.

- READ: Lets you read messages in the current message area. You
- can reply to messages you read if you have enough access.

- SCAN: Lets you scan messages in the current message area.
- This lists minimal information on each message, such as who wrote it,
- who it is to, and what the subject is.

- CHAT: Request to chat with the SysOp. Better have a good
- reason; some sysops have been known to send electronic death through
- the phone line to obnoxious or inane users.

- FEEDBACK: Leave a message for the SysOp to read. Much better
- than Chat.

- EDIT CONFIG: Edit your setup on this BBS. Lets you change things
- like screen width, length, ANSI graphics capability, and so forth.

- HELP!: Gets you a hypertext help file with information geared
- toward new users.

- call this BBS.

- READ NEWS: Lets you read news files. You'll be able to List the
- filenames, Read a particular filename, or quit and come back to this
