  4. @B@The object of Betsy Ross Solitaire is to play out all the cards from the
  5. deck onto the 4 foundation piles.
  6.  
  7. @H@You turn up cards from the deck, onto the DISCARD PILE, one at a time, by
  8. selecting the (D)eal a Card option or pressing <ENTER>.
  9.  
  10. @B@You move a card from the DISCARD PILE to one of the 4 Foundation Piles
  11. by entering the number (#) of the Foundation Pile.
  12.  
  13. @H@The 4 Foundation Piles start out with a A, 2, 3, 4 respectively. Each
  14. subsequent card you add to each Pile, is determined by ADDING the Pile
  15. number (1,2,3 or 4) to the current card displayed on the Pile.

  17. @B@For example: (a) If the current card on Pile #1 is an Ace, then the next
  18.                  card you could place would be a 2.
  19.  
  20.              (b) If the current card on Pile #3 is a 9, then the next card
  21.                  you could place would be a Queen (9 + 3 = Queen).

  23. @H@To SIMPLIFY the adding of a number to determine the next legal card move,
  24. a set of LEGAL moves you can make to each Foundation Pile is displayed in
  25. the middle of the board. The program will not allow you to deviate, and
  26. will blank out each move as it is made, thus showing the next move clearly.

  39. @H@If there are no legal moves for the displayed DISCARD PILE card, press
  40. <ENTER> or <D> to get another card.

  45. @B@You will earn 1 point for each card you place on the foundation, 25 points
  46. for each foundation you complete (up to the King) and Bonus points as follows:
  47.    1000 points for completing ALL foundations
  48.     500 points for completing  3  foundations
  49.     300 points for completing  2  foundations
  50.     100 points for completing  1  foundation

  52. @N@NOTE:@H@ (1) ALL cards in the DISCARD PILE are available for play when they
  53.           rise to the top of the PILE. For example, the DISCARD PILE
  54.           contains 2 cards (a 6 and a Queen). If you remove the 6 to one
  55.           of the Foundations, the Queen will be shown and you can move
  56.           it to a foundation as well.

  58.       (2) The computer will deal the deck once and then redeal the DISCARD
  59.           PILE once, for a total of two times thru the cards.
