- │▐▐▐▐ WHAT'S NEW IN URD VERSION 1.02b │
- └──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
-
- This is a quick bug-fix update of URD v1.02, due to some bugs in
- the RA v1.10/v1.11 compatiblity routines. The following has changed
- in this version of URD :
-
- ■ Still URD didn't detect the correct baudrate. Fixed! (really ;-)
-
- ■ Fixed line number detection bug in RA 1.10/1.11 routines. URD
- would always display 'Line: 1'. URD now also supports the TASK
- environment variable (supported by RA and FD).
-
- ■ Fixed a few other bugs which were left after the last revision.
- I think it's now running well. I had to re-install RA 1.11 again
- to capture the last bugs, but I think I got them ;-).
-
- ■ A few people have contacted me with the problem that URD
- reported to run under RA v2.00, while they were running RA
- v1.11. In most cases this was caused by themself, bacause they
- run the RACONFIG of RA v2.00. When this program initializes
- itself by reading the CONFIG.RA, it will immediatly set the
- VersionID in CONFIG.RA to 2.00. This causes URD to detect RA
- v2.00 and not v1.11.
-
- ■ Sometimes URD displays 'Incompatible RA version'. This can be
- caused by a few things. First of all (of course) is that you're
- running a RA version, lower than 1.10. These versions are not
- supported. Please upgrade!. Another cause could be, that URD
- couldn't locate the EXITINFO.BBS. This dropfile has to be in the
- current directory from where URD is started. For a single-line
- BBS this is normally the RA system directory. For a multi-line
- BBS this is normally the line directory. Please note, that the
- current directory DOESN'T have to be the URD directory. URD
- expects all CTL and Qxx files in the directory where URD.EXE is
- stored. When started, URD will get the name of that directory to
- locate these files. You won't have to worry about it.
-
- If you find any problem concerning URD, please feel free to contact
- me at my bulletin board, the URD or URD_BETA support areas or
- through any other BBS Utilities related echomail area. You can also
- contact me via netmail (see URD.DOC for addresses).
