- sure that RGView is safe to operate, but it is still to be used at
- your own risk.
-
- What is RGView?
-
- RGView is a command line viewer for Renegade BBS .ASC text files.
- RGView will also display menu files in color if they contain color codes.
- The Color Codes supported are as follows:
-
- ^# Where # is a number 0 to 9
- |## Where ## is 00-15 Foreground colors 0 - 15
- 16-23 Background colors 0 - 7
-
- In addition to those, the old ^C color system is still supported.
- RGView will also replace Renegade MCI codes with predefined defaults.
- Those defaults can be chosen when you run RGVCFG.EXE, the setup program
- for RGView.
-
- RGView Features:
-
- - MCI Code Replacement
- - Will still read the old ^C color code system
- - Multitasker aware, RGView will give up timeslices during pauses as to not
- waste processor time.
-
- Registration:
-
- RGView is $7.50 to register. That will get you your name on the status
- line, and the statisfaction of supporting shareware.

- How to use RGView:
-
- To begin, it is recommended that you copy "RGVIEW.EXE" to a path
- that is contained in your DOS Path statement. Second, run RGVCFG.EXE,
- this program is self explanatory, and it will create RGVIEW.CFG, the
- configuration file needed for RGView to run.
-
- Next, just type RGView Filename.ext at the DOS Prompt. That's it.
-
- Enjoy!
