  2.                           How To Use Help

  4.  Use your cursor keys and ENTER, or the mouse to select a Topic.
  5.  
  6.  Pressing the letter key of the first letter in a menu item will
  7.  move the bar to that item. Each successive press of that letter
  8.  will move to the next item with that letter as its first.
  9.  
  10.  If you create a "NEW" Help file:
  11.  To use your new Help file, press Shift-F1 and enter the help file name.
  12.  This name will be saved in the editor config file RATEINT.CFG, and will
  13.  become the default Help file util you change it again.
  14.  
  15.  The carat (^) symbol represents the Control Key, ^Q means you press
  16.  either Control key and Q.  ^Q and Ctl-Q mean the same thing.

  148.   Once a value is highlighted, pressing ENTER will paste that value
  149.   into the text.

  154. *Calendar Help
  155. The Calendar is only available in the Registered Version. {+}

  157. You select a date from the Calendar, then you will be asked to select the
  158. format in which you want the date, it will then be inserted into the text.

  160. Pressing ENTER or the left mouse button will select the highlighted date.

  164. Right Arrow - Increment Day             Left Arrow - Decrement Day
  165. Down Arrow  - Increment Week            Up Arrow   - Decrement Week

  171. *Resizing the Edit Window

  173.       To activate move/resize, press the
  174.       ScrollLock key.  You will be in move/resize
  175.       mode until ScrollLock is Off, or ESCape
  176.       is pressed.

  178.       To MOVE, press keypad arrow keys.
  179.       To RESIZE, press Shift and keypad arrow keys.

  181.       Left Shift to Shrink the window size.
  182.       Right Shift to Grow the window size.

  184.       Window Settings are not saved upon exit.

  189.   Currently RATE will save certian Internal settings in a configuration
  190.   file name RATEINT.CFG (see RATE.DOC)

  192.   Another configuration file will be added in the future to allow you to
  193.   modify editor colors etc.

  195.   So there will be "two" configuration files for customizing the Editor to
  196.   your satisfaction. We were not able to have the configuration program
  197.   ready for version 1.0

  222. *Make Your Own Help File

  224.   You can edit a copy of this Help file, and create one more to your liking
  225.   if you wish.
  226.  
  227.   You can add help screens, reminders to you on how to accomplish what you
  228.   want.  The important thing to remember, is there can be no more than
  229.   50 Menu Items in the menu.
  230.   The help text should not extend beyond column 76. Use the text in this
  231.   file, to help you design your own. SAVE A COPY OF THIS!

  233.   After creation, modification, you can specify this new file in the config
  234.   file. Press Shift-F1 and enter in the new file name. This will be your
  235.   default Help File until you change it again. (see RATE.DOC)

  237.   An asterisk (*) specifies a menu entry

  239.   A number sign (#) specifies the end of the help page.
