- Use your cursor keys and ENTER, or the mouse to select a Topic.
-
- Pressing the letter key of the first letter in a menu item will
- move the bar to that item. Each successive press of that letter
- will move to the next item with that letter as its first.

- If you create a "NEW" Help file:
- To use your new Help file, press Shift-F1 and enter the help file name.
- This name will be saved in the editor config file RATEINT.CFG, and will
- become the default Help file util you change it again.
-
- The carat (^) symbol represents the Control Key, ^Q means you press
- either Control key and Q. ^Q and Ctl-Q mean the same thing.

- The Calendar is only available in the Registered Version. {+}

- You select a date from the Calendar, then you will be asked to select the
- format in which you want the date, it will then be inserted into the text.

- Pressing ENTER or the left mouse button will select the highlighted date.

- *Resizing the Edit Window

- To activate move/resize, press the
- ScrollLock key. You will be in move/resize
- mode until ScrollLock is Off, or ESCape
- is pressed.

- To MOVE, press keypad arrow keys.
- To RESIZE, press Shift and keypad arrow keys.

- Left Shift to Shrink the window size.
- Right Shift to Grow the window size.

- Window Settings are not saved upon exit.

- Currently RATE will save certian Internal settings in a configuration
- file name RATEINT.CFG (see RATE.DOC)

- Another configuration file will be added in the future to allow you to
- modify editor colors etc.

- So there will be "two" configuration files for customizing the Editor to
- your satisfaction. We were not able to have the configuration program
- ready for version 1.0

- *Make Your Own Help File

- You can edit a copy of this Help file, and create one more to your liking
- if you wish.

- You can add help screens, reminders to you on how to accomplish what you
- want. The important thing to remember, is there can be no more than
- 50 Menu Items in the menu.
- The help text should not extend beyond column 76. Use the text in this
- file, to help you design your own. SAVE A COPY OF THIS!

- After creation, modification, you can specify this new file in the config
- file. Press Shift-F1 and enter in the new file name. This will be your
- default Help File until you change it again. (see RATE.DOC)

- An asterisk (*) specifies a menu entry
-
- A number sign (#) specifies the end of the help page.
