  19. Random Access Humor (RAH) is published monthly by Dave Bealer as a
  20. disservice to the online community.  Although the publisher's BBS may
  21. be a part of one or more networks at any time, RAH is not affiliated
  22. with any BBS network or online service.  RAH is a compilation of
  23. individual articles contributed by their authors.  The contribution
  24. of articles to this compilation does not diminish the rights of the
  25. authors.  The opinions expressed in RAH are those of the authors and
  26. are not necessarily those of the publisher.

  53. Article contributions to RAH are always welcome.  All submissions
  54. must be made electronically.  File attach your article to a netmail
  55. message to Dave Bealer at 1:261/1129.  E-mail may also be sent via
  56. Internet to: dbealer@clark.net

  58. Tagline and filler submissions may be made via e-mail.  Article
  59. submissions should be made via file.  Submitted files must be plain
  60. ASCII text files in normal MS-DOS file format: artname.RAH; where
  61. artname is a descriptive file name and RAH is the mandatory 
  62. extension.  Your text should be less than 70 columns across for 
  63. widest readability.  If your article does not conform to these simple
  64. specs, it may get lost or trashed.  Also note that such imaginative
  65. names as RAH.RAH might get overlaid by the blatherings of similarly 
  66. minded contributors.  If your hardware is incapable of producing file
  67. names in the proper format, you may send your article as one or more
  68. e-mail messages.  It may not be possible to make private responses
  69. to any submissions or correspondence received.

  71. The editors reserve the right to publish or not to publish any
  72. submission as/when they see fit.  The editors also reserve the right
  73. to "edit", or modify any submission prior to publication.  This last
  74. right will rarely be used, typically only to correct spelling or
  75. grammar misteaks that are not funny.  RAH is a PG rated publication,
  76. so keep it (mostly) clean.

  78. RAH can accept only the following types of material for publication:
  79. 1) Any material in the public domain.
  80. 2) Material for which you own the copyright.  If you wrote it
  81.     yourself, you are automatically the copyright holder.
  82. 3) Authorized agents for a copyright holder (typically an 
  83.     organization) may submit material on behalf of that holder.

  85. In writing jargon, RAH is deemed to be given "One Time Rights" to
  86. anything submitted for publication unless otherwise noted in the
  87. message accompanying the contribution.  You still own the material,
  88. and RAH will make no use of the material other than publishing it
  89. electronically in the usual manner.  Your article may be selected for
  90. publication in a planned "Best of RAH" electronic book.  If you want
  91. your copyright notice to appear in your article, place it as desired
  92. in the text you submit.  Previously published articles may be
  93. submitted, but proper acknowledgement must be included: periodical
  94. name, date of previous publication.
