- []BBS information
- This will display how many calls the BBS has had since the first
- day of operation, who the last caller was, and how many users the
- BBS now has.
- []System usage graph
- This will display a graph showing the day's usage for each node
- per hour. From this screen, you are able to view yesterday's
- usage, so that you can compare the two days operations.
- []Todays caller's list
- This will give you a complete listing of the callers that have
- completed a call to the BBS since midnight. You can toggle the
- user's name/handle by pressing H.
-
- Note: You can also view yesterday's callers
- []Node usage graph
- This graph will show you how much of each hour was used on that
- node. You can use the > key to view the next node, or the < to
- view the previous node. You can also view the hourly usage for
- all of the nodes by pressing O.
-
- Note: The overall usage graph can be configured to exclude the
- local nodes. To do this place an astericks (<) before
- the path in the NODEMAN.SET file.
- []Node usage chart
- This chart will show statistics for every node. You will see
- the number of calls, the total time used, the average time used
- by each caller, the percentage of time used over the day, and
- the number of new callers.
-
- Note: You can also view yesterday's statistics
- []Last message
- If a message was left by the person displayed in the current node,
- then the message information will be displayed. This includes the
- receiver name, what the subject matter was, what area it was mailed
- in, and whether or not it was a private message.
- []Send message
- This will allow you to enter a message and send it to the user
- on the current node.
-
- Note: If there are nodes tagged, and you confirm to send the
- message, then all the tagged nodes will receive a copy of
- the message.
- []Polite kickoff
- This will allow you to send a message to the current node before
- the user is disconnected from the board.
-
- Note: If there are nodes tagged, and you confirm to send the
- message, then all the tagged nodes will receive a copy of
- the message and be disconnected.
- []Quick kickoff
- This will not give the user on the current node any warning,
- but will be disconnected from the board immediately.
-
- Note: If there are nodes tagged, and you confirm this
- action, then all the users on the tagged nodes will
- be disconnected.
- []Reboot a node
- If you wish to reboot a computer, for whatever reason, you
- are able to with this feature, as long as you are able to
- view the node.
-
- Note: If there are nodes tagged, and you confirm this
- action, then all the tagged nodes will be rebooted.
- []Snoop/control a node
- If you would like to view or control a node, you are able to,
- simply by pressing ENTER or SCROLLLOCK on the selected node.
- You will then see that terminals screen, and that terminal will
- receive what ever keystrokes you press, with the exception of the
- SCROLLLOCK key, which will bring you back to the main screen.
- []View user's statistics
- By pressing I on a selected node, you will be shown a screen
- similar in appearance to the RemoteAccess' user editor. If you
- are using Pager, and the user has paged, then the FWD line will
- be replaced with a PAGE line.
- []Toggle mailer/disk statistics
- This will toggle the information you wish to display. If you
- have selected a mailer, and would briefly like to view the disk
- statistics, this will change it for you. If you press ALT-D
- again, it will return you to your selected mailer.
- []Toggle time field
- This will toggle the time field between the elapsed time and the
- logon / logoff time.
- []View tagged nodes
- This will cycle through the nodes that have been tagged and view
- them for the configured amount of time. You can tag all nodes by
- pressing T. You can untag all nodes by pressing U. SPACE will
- toggle the condition of the node.
- []View nodes with users
- This will cycle through the nodes and view only the nodes
- with users on-line.
-
- Note: If you have mailer or semaphore information being
- displayed then these nodes will be cycled also.
- []Edit ALT-Keys
- Nodeman will allow you to program 9 ALT keys. These keys can be
- used to execute other programs. This is simply a faster way than
- to manually DOS shell, and typing the command to run the program.
- As optional parameters may wish to use some of the control keys:
-
- ^` Simulates an ESC key
- ^@ or *N Enters the current node number
- ^A..^Z Note: ^M is the ENTER key
- []Edit Macro keys
- You are able to send a node a string of characters as if you
- typed them yourself. These strings can be saved in the macro
- keys. A list of the available control characters:
-
- ^` Simulates an ESC key
- ^@ or *N Enters the current node number
- ^A..^Z Note: ^M is the ENTER key
- []Edit events
- This program will allow you to program up to 100 events. This
- will allow you to easily configure each event. These events
- will be run only on the selected days, at the time specified.
- []Edit file based events
- Nodeman will run programs based on file activity. You can
- have up to 25 of these events. When editing the events, the
- TYPE will determine what is required from the FILENAME. The
- file can either exist, be missing, or can be updated, if the
- file meets the requirements the COMMAND line will be executed.
- []Edit semaphores
- Nodeman will search for up to 50 semaphore files. You must
- specify the filename that it must search for. If the file
- is found then the node that is found in the file name will
- have the information changed to that as was entered. When
- defining the filename use *N to represent the node number.
