- Because your radio station will require an antenna, and a feed line of some
- sort to connect the antenna to the radio, you will need a convenient means of
- getting the feed line into the shack. There are many ways of doing this, but
- one of the easiest and most effective requires only a window. Many hams
- simply replace the glass pane in a convenient window with a clear acrylic
- panel, which can be drilled to accept as many feed lines as needed. Special
- threaded feedthrough connectors make the job easy. If you decide to
- relocate your station, or move, the glass pane can be replaced, restoring
- the window to its original condition. +
