  1. UPDATING TO/FROM BBS

  3.         From time to time you may want to Update your Store Information file.
  4. You can either Download the "[your code].STR" from the BBS or use the one
  5. (if you saved it, which you should) located in your Offline directory.
  6.         You need to update/keep apprised of your product file especially if
  7. if your products have a small inventory.  InterMall will subtract from 
  8. inventory the number of products ordered from your store.  You will need
  9. to DOWNLOAD "[your code].DPT" file from the BBS to your Offline Manager
  10. directory. (This is up to you.  If you have updated products offline and 
  11. THEN downloaded your .DPT over it, you will of course erase what you've been
  12. working on, so this is mostly a common sense thing.).
  13.         You can then Update your store and products by uploading the 
  14. correct "[your code].*" file.
  15.         If the BBS you have a store own is part of a INTERBBS network of
  16. stores, then you need to select "UPDATE YOUR STORE" from the Store Manager
  17. Menu on INTERMALL while you're online.  This will tell InterMall to send
  18. your UPDATED or NEW *.DPT / *.STR file "over the network" to other BBSes.
  19.         You need to daily log onto INTERMALL to download any order that may
  20. have been sent to your business.
