- Ver 3.2 Corrected Errors in Obtaining the ANSI selection from GTUSER.BBS
- file. The latest versions of GT are creating much longer user
- files than previous versions. Also corrected a problem with
- GTMORE locking up on occasion if the USER could not be found in
- the USER.CTL file.
-
- Ver 3.1 Added "Share" support for GT.CNF, GTUSER.BBS, USER.CTL.
-
- Ver 3.0 Page breaks can now be forced with a ^E or () character.
- If you put the ^E character every 2 lines, GTMORE will count
- every other line as a full page. This feature was added to
- allow for forced pauses.
-
- Ver 2.9 The screen length is now pulled from the USER.CTL file for
- each user. If the Users name is not found or if they have
- 0 selected, GTMORE will display 24 lines. A new command line
- parameter also allows you to specify that the USER.CTL file
- not be used for the screen length. If /DL is specified
- USER.CTL will not be opened, and the screen length will be
- 24 lines.
-
- Ver 2.8 Bug Fix Release. GTMORE was interpreting some of the ANSI
- cursor positioning codes as color codes. This problem is
- fixed in version 2.8
-
- Ver 2.7 Well the coloring of the prompt is "somewhat" configuratble now.
- GTMORE will now pull the colors out of your GT.CNF file. If you
- don't like the colors, I'm sorry, you picked them. If you don't
- like the colors you picked, try mine, /DC on the GTMORE command
- line will tell GTMORE "DON'T LOOK AT GT.CNF". The default GTMORE
- colors will then be used instead.
-
- Ver 2.6 The Prompt that is displayed to the user will now be colorized
- if ANSI is detected in the GTUSER.BBS file. Version 2.7 will
- most likely allow for configurable coloring.
-
- Ver 2.5 Ooooopppppsssss. /NP quit working with ver 2.4. It is fixed
- again. Sorry about that.
-
- Ver 2.4 Smarts Added Release. GTMORE now handles all the COM routines
- on it's own. That's right, no need for GATEWAY or DOORWAY. The
- /COMx parameter will now tell GTMORE to send out the text to the
- appropriate port all on it's own. Of course carrier is fully
- monitored as with previous versions......
-
- Another minor detail... Now at the action prompts, GTMORE will
- display the current page and the total number of available pages.
-
- Ver 2.3 Bug Fix Release. GTMORE was working fine in local mode but
- it seems that when used remotely, the pauses were not working.
- GTMORE once again recognizes input from remote and will work
- as advertised <g>.
-
- Ver 2.2 Bug Fix Release. GTMORE was being a little too smart for its
- own good. It was monitoring carrier anytime LOCAL was not
- found in the GTUSER.BBS file, rather than only when the /COMx
- parameter was placed on the command line. The program now
- works the way the docs say it is supposed to. Thanks to
- Jerry Hook of The Engage BBS for finding this bug.
-
-
- Ver 2.1 The GTMORE prompt and actions work a little differently than
- previous versions. GTMORE will now present the folloiwg prompt
- "[Q]uit [P]revious [T]op [ENTER] Next:". The user will then
- have the option of viewing Quitting the display, Viewing the
- Previous Page, starting over from the Top of the file, or
- continuing on to the next screen of text. This version is
- more of a "browsing" style than the previous paginated
- output.
-
-
- Following are new command line options that have been added
- to GTMORE.
-
-
- /? or /HELP Display a 'Quick Help' listing.
-
-
- /NC if this option is specified GTMORE will NOT clear the
- screen prior to displaying the selected file. The
- default of GTMORE is to clear the screen. The /NC
- parameter is optional and a matter of preference.
-
- /NP if this option is specified GTMORE will NOT pause at
- the end of the file. The default of GTMORE is to
- display the following at the end of the displayed file.
-
- **EOF** [P]revious [T]op [ENTER] Quit:
-
- With /NP the above prompt will NOT be displayed and
- the final part of your display may not be viewable
- to the remote user. This depends entirely on your
- application, and what runs after GTMORE is finished.
- /NP is also an optional parameter.
