  9. Batcher will take articles, specified in the news\outgoing\[system]
  10. file, and batch them for transmission via UUCICO. Based on the
  11. information in the batcher.cfg file, batcher will create, compress,
  12. and queue transmission files.

  14. Optional parameters:

  16.   -s system
  17.  
  18.   The "-s" flag allows you to specify which system to batch news articles
  19.   for. Without it, it will batch for all systems with batch files.
  20.  
  21.   -v
  22.  
  23.   The "-v" option specifies "verbose" mode.  If this flag is used,
  24.   then batcher will show all the actions that it takes in preparing
  25.   batches. Without the -v option, batcher will display the copyright,
  26.   but not output any information. This "quiet" mode is the default as
  27.   some systems run batcher often and don't want all the output.
